According to the Bylaws: All credential holders must submit annual verification of their local accountability structure as part of their credential renewal process. This ensures that every minister within IMN is walking in integrity, theological alignment, and relational submission within a local context.
A valid local accountability structure must include:
1. A clearly defined group responsible for the minister’s oversight — such as a local church board, elder team, nonprofit board, or recognized group of spiritual leaders.
2. Authority to speak into matters of doctrine, conduct, and leadership within the minister’s sphere of influence.
3. Commitment to transparency and shared communication with IMNC in the case of any moral, doctrinal, or behavioral concerns.
4. Willingness to provide written recommendations to IMNC when needed (e.g., during credentialing, advancement, restoration, or disciplinary review).
Ministers must submit a signed document confirming:
• The names and roles of those on their local oversight team
• A brief explanation of how accountability functions in their context
• A signed affirmation from a member of the local governing body
