Return to Earth: SA Arts Co-Hort
Please use this form to sign-up for 'Return to Earth' by filling the form below. Return to Earth emerged post-pandemic as a gathering of South Australian artists committed to continuing climate and nature-based conversations. The group resurfaces as a collective of humans in the arts sector —emerging to established, across roles, generations and backgrounds—whose work explores relationships with nature and confronts our emotional and cultural responses to ecological crisis. At its core, Return to Earth is a community built on storytelling, research, shared practices, and creative resilience. It asks a simple but urgent question: how can artists, scientists and thinkers together imagine new visions of the future—and what do we do next? Return to Earth fosters critical reflection, deep nourishment, and connection, carving out space for the conversations and collaborations that sustain both practice and community. At this time, Return to Earth is administered by Amber Cronin and consists of meetings, symposium, gatherings and knowledge sharing between the co-hort. Through this form, 'Return to Earth' is conducting a call out for SA based artists to collectivise so that the group may better respond to SA's current pitch to be the 2026 host for global COP31 and in the face of this moment asks - how do we want to respond?
