Mubadala Abu Dhabi Open invites children across the Emirate to take part in the Nationwide Art Competition, celebrating creativity and sustainability.

About the Competition
• Inspiring students to express their artistic talents while championing eco-friendly practices.
• Participants will create upcycled artwork based on the theme:
“Showcasing Tennis by Reusing Items.”

• All artworks must follow the required format outlined in the guidelines to be accepted.

GUIDELINES

• ALL CREATED ART MUST NOT EXCEED THESE MEASUREMENTS 

  50CM Length | 50CM Height | 50CM Width 

• Weight to not be more than 2 KGs

• Sign-up Form: Mandatory to be completed to participate in the campaign

• Submission criteria: A physical model should be created by the children & photos are required to be uploaded

• Photos: Minimum 5 photos of the art, with a minimum of three photos of the making of the art must be submitted

• Submissions: Any submissions posted after the 21st of January 2026, will not be accepted

• Parents' consent forms: Must be signed

TERMS & CONDITIONS

• The committee has the right to use images of artworks and share them in all media
• The organizing committee has the right to accept or reject the participant's work
• Entrants shortlisted to win one of the prizes will be required to submit their original work
• The Schools Program team will not reimburse the cost of creating the artwork, and delivering it to the MADO village team 
• Parents contact number & email address is mandatory to be provided & these will be used to contact participants
• All works will be judged anonymously
• By entering the competition, artists agree to all of the Conditions of entry.
• Artists will allow the work to be photographed and reproduced by the Competition to promote the exhibition including; catalogs, press and publicity, and websites in all territories.
• Copyright of all works remains the property of the artist. Any inquiries for copyright will be referred to the artist.

Originality

The submitted entry (the “Work”) must be original.
The artwork should not have previously participated in other exhibitions or bear the title of the competition & the artwork submitted should not be a copy.
A third party (e.g., gallery, agent, or other representatives) may not submit work on behalf of the artist.
The artist is responsible for its originality, and all copyrights belong to the artist.

Data Protection
In accordance with the Data Protection Act, the committee will hold the personal data of artists supplied on the entry form securely. The data will only be used in the process of administering the Art & Artist competition and will not be transferred to any third party not directly involved in this competition.
