Ramsey County Community Advisory Councils

Help Shape the Future of Ramsey County Services

The Community Advisory Council includes several committees that advise on specific services or topics. Ramsey County Community Advisory Councils bring together residents and community leaders to advise on policies and services that impact mental health, aging populations, children and families, disability access, and recovery services. These councils play an important role in ensuring community voice, accountability, and culturally responsive decision-making.

If you are interested in contributing your perspective and helping strengthen how services are delivered in Ramsey County, please review the options below.

Adult Mental Health Advisory Council: Assists adults living with mental health concerns with living arrangements, school, work, and recreation.

Adult Services Committee: Supports aging adults and LGBTQIA2S+ elders in accessing culturally diverse services.

Children's Services Review Panel: Reviews children's services policies and makes recommendations to improve outcomes for children and families.

Disability Services and Support Committee: Supports individuals living with visible and invisible disabilities to access culturally diverse services and live independently.

Substance Use and Recovery Committee: Assists community members in accessing culturally specific pathways to recovery.
