  • Please note:

    Volunteers MUST be 14 years old to volunteer!  If you have children 0-13 years old, we will provide childcare.  You will just need to sign them up at the end of this form.

    Volunteers MUST be 16 years old or older to volunteer as a Buddy.

    ALL Volunteers MUST have a currect background check on file.  If you do not have one, a NTS Team memeber will be in contact with you to secure your background check.

    Times for February 13, 2026:

    Event Volunteers arrive - 4-4:15p

    Buddies arrive - 4:45p

    Team Leaders meet with Team - 4:45p

    Buddies meet in sanctuary - 5p

    Volunteer meeting - 5:15p in sanctuary

  • Description of Volunteer Opportunities

    Volunteer and Buddy Check In: hand out name tags, direct to coat rooms, food, answer questions. Need to be able to arrive at 3:30pm February 13, 2026.

    Guest Check In: Ensure everyone entering has a name tag and signed Liability Release. Ensure Guest is assinged a Buddy.

    Buddy: Paired with 1 of our Night to Shine Guests to help aid in the best night possible.  Must be 16 years old or older.

    Nursery and Childcare: Assist in the care of the volunteer's children, ages 0-13.

    Food Prep: Arrive at designated time to help caters unload and set up food. Assist preparing and set up of foods and beverages in main dining area and respite room. Set up and serve food to volunteers.  Refill Food warmers and drinks and snacks as needed. Empty Garbage as needed.  Need to be able to arrive at 3:30pm February 13, 2026.

    Food Service Team: Assist Buddies, Guests and Respite guests by serving food. Assist by carrying plates for buddies to the tables. Clear plates from tables.

    Parking Team/Security: Arrive early before volunteers arrive. Maintain a parking pattern and direct traffic at the beginning and end of the event. Maintain open area for Limos. Assist with Security during the event.  Need to be able to arrive at 3:30pm February 13, 2026.

    Transportation and Welcome Team: Assist guests as they exit the vehicles and enter the event. Assure they have met a buddy and help them find the registration area.

    Coat Check Team and Lost & Found: Volunteers will greet guests, take their coats, label and hang them. Be available at end of the event to assist with coat retrieval, lost items and exiting.

    Flowers (Corsages and Boutonnieres): Help guests pick out flower and pin on boutonnieres.

    Red Carpet and Paparazzi Team: Paparazzi will treat guest like celebraties, snapping photos and cheering them on.  Camera's are highly encouraged!

    Hair and Make-up: Welcome guests to salon station for hair and makeup touchup. Pamper your guests, making them feel beautiful and loved!

    Shoe Shine: Invite guests into your station for a shine. Make them feel hansome and loved. 

    Limo: Assist Guest and Buddies to and from the limos. Manage flow of guests waiting.

    Karaoke: Manage the flow of guests. Lead applause of all guests.

    Photo Booth: Manage the flow of guests.

    Sensory Room Team: Spend time with guests who become overstimulated.

    Respite Room: Volunteers will spend time with parents and caregivers, getting to know them and be available to pray with them if needed. 

    Bathroom Attendants: Help guest find the bathrooms and offer assistance entering and exiting the stall and hand washing. (If guests need more assistance contact a caregiver or parent)

    Dance Floor Team: Spend time on the dance floor dancing and encouraging others to join in on the fun!

  • Southridge Church Liability Release 

    I, the undersigned, wish to voluntarily participate in the Tim Tebow Foundation Night To Shine event on February 13, 2026. 

    In consideration for registering to participate in Night To Shine, at Southridge Church, 6726 Texas Dr, Kal., MI, I, the undersigned, fully recognizing the potential dangers and hazards inherent at Southridge Church and any related transportation, including personal injury, property damage, or wrongful death, as well as the unknown dangers and hazards which may arise in the course of my participation in Night To Shine, do hereby voluntarily: 

    Agree, for myself, and my personal representative, to defend, hold harmless, indemnify, release and forever discharge, to the broadest extent allowed by law, Southridge Church, its Consistory, employees, agents, insurers, from and against any and all claims, demands, actions, or causes of action on account of any damage to real or personal property or any personal injury or death that may result from my participation in Night To Shine. 

    I have read this release, I understand it fully, I understand that it is legally binding, and I understand that, among other things, I am agreeing to indemnify Southridge Church, for injuries, damages or losses I or someone else may cause and giving up rights to sue Southridge Church for injuries, damages or losses I may incur. 

  • Night to Shine Participant (Guests, Volunteers & Vendors) Media Rights Release

    By signing below, and for the good and valuable consideration of participating in an event hosted by CHURCH, and sponsored in part by or associated with the Tim Tebow Foundation, I hereby give my full consent to Tim Tebow Foundation, Inc., (“TTF”) a Georgia nonprofit corporation headquartered in Florida and CHURCH (“CHURCH”), a STATE nonprofit corporation, to record, by writing, by video, photographic, or audio recording device, or by any other analog or digital means, my actions, physical likeness, biographical information, and/or voice. Additionally, I hereby grant to TTF and CHURCH, without royalty or other compensation now or in the future, all rights of every kind and character whatsoever, in perpetuity, in and to any and all such recordings, along with any additional recordings I might provide to TTF and CHURCH, and to any benefits inuring to TTF and CHURCH as a result of its use of any of the foregoing recordings. Among other things, TTF and CHURCH may, but are not required to, copy or reproduce the recording, edit or modify it, incorporate it into another work, display or broadcast it or any of the foregoing privately or publicly, and use or license it or any of the foregoing for use by others, all for the sole benefit and at the sole discretion of TTF and CHURCH, for the advancement of TTF and CHURCH’s exempt charitable purposes. All permissions granted herein extend to any successor or assign of TTF and CHURCH and bind me and my heirs, successors, and assigns. I, hereby release and discharge and agree to hold harmless TTF and CHURCH, its directors, officers, employees, volunteers, and independent contractors, from any and all claims or damages, including but not limited to defamation or violation of rights of privacy or publicity, arising from or associated with the recordings or use of recordings. This release shall be construed, interpreted and governed in accordance with the laws of the State of Florida, and should any provision of this release be determined invalid, such invalidity does not affect any of the remaining provisions. I am of full age and have the right to contract in my own name.

  • COVID Release

    I acknowledge the contagious nature of the Coronavirus/COVID-19 and that the CDC and many other public health authorities still recommend practicing social distancing.
    I further acknowledge that Southridge Church has put in place preventative measures to reduce the spread of the Coronavirus/COVID-19.
    I further acknowledge that Southridge Church can not guarantee that I will not become infected with the Coronavirus/Covid-19. I understand that the risk of becoming exposed to and/or infected by the Coronavirus/COVID-19 may result from the actions, omissions, or negligence of myself and others, including, but not limited to, church staff, and other event guests and volunteers and their families.
    I voluntarily seek services provided by Southridge Church and acknowledge that I am increasing my risk to exposure to the Coronavirus/COVID-19. I acknowledge that I must comply with all set procedures to reduce the spread while attending this event.
    I attest that:
    * I am not experiencing any symptoms of illness such as cough, shortness of breath or difficulty breathing, fever, chills, repeated shaking with chills, muscle pain, headache, sore throat, or new loss of taste or smell.
    * I have not traveled internationally within the last 14 days.
    * I have not traveled to a highly impacted area within the United States of America in the last 14 days.
    * I do not believe I have been exposed to someone with a suspected and/or confirmed case of the Coronavirus/COVID-19.
    * I have not been diagnosed with Coronavirus/Covid-19 and not yet cleared as non contagious by state or local public health authorities.
    * I am following all CDC recommended guidelines as much as possible and limiting my exposure to the Coronavirus/COVID-19.
    I hereby release and agree to hold Southridge Church harmless from, and waive on behalf of myself, my heirs, and any personal representatives any and all causes of action, claims, demands, damages, costs, expenses and compensation for damage or loss to myself and/or property that may be caused by any act, or failure to act of the church, or that may otherwise arise in any way in connection with any services received from Southridge Church. I understand that this release discharges Southridge Church from any liability or claim that I, my heirs, or any personal representatives may have against the salon with respect to any bodily injury, illness, death, medical treatment, or property damage that may arise from, or in connection to, any services received from Southridge Church. This liability waiver and release extends to the church together with all volunteers, guests, and families.

  • Child Care for Volunteers

    We will be offering Child Care for children (ages 0-13) of volunteers during the event. Please note that you will need to provide food for your child's dinner.
