ACC Change Request (Nov 2025)
  • Oak Tree Village HOA Architectural Change Request

  • The responsibility of the Architectural Control Committee (ACC) is to ensure that the architectural uniformity of the OTV is preserved, and by doing so to support the value of the property. Any deviation from the architectural standards of any house diminishes the value of that house as well as all houses in the community.

Because of that responsibility the ACC must ask homeowners to submit any proposed changes to the exterior of their houses or the areas around them for ACC approval.

Standards for the architecture of the OTV can be found in the Oak Tree Village Association Declaration of Covenants & Restrictions (Amended & Restated Oct 2018). Homeowners are advised to check to see if their proposal meets those standards before submitting their request to the ACC. Any work done on any property, whether on the house proper, on court yards or arrears in front, beside, or behind, or on Association property surrounding or adjacent to the house, without approval will not be allowed. lf work is done without the approval of the ACC application process or through the approval through the appeals process to the OTV Board, it must be remedied at the owner's expense.

    PROCESS FOR APPEAL:

A decision by the ACC denying an application or request by an owner may be appealed to the Board. The owner may request a hearing on or before the 30th day after the date the notice was mailed to the owner. Upon receipt of the appeal, the Board will set the date for a hearing and the homeowner will be notified. The complete appeal process is outlined in Architectural Control Committee Rules (March 2022).
