1. Event Commitment
You are applying to vend at Upper Canada Mall from Friday, November 28 to Sunday, November 30, 2025, during full mall hours.
You agree to be present and open for business on all three days of the event.
2. Payment & Refund Policy
The booth fee is $915 + HST and includes one high-top 6ft table and one stool.
All payments are final. No refunds will be issued under any circumstances, including vendor cancellation.
Additional items such as extra stools or electricity must be requested in advance and are subject to availability and additional fees.
3. Booth Setup & Displays
Displays must fit entirely within your assigned space.
Racks, shelving, grid walls, or tall fixtures must be freestanding, safe, and pre-approved.
Nothing may be attached to mall walls, floors, ceilings, or columns — including using tape, hooks, nails, or adhesives.
To maintain a cohesive and elevated market aesthetic:
No backdrops or banners of any kind are allowed (vinyl, fabric, retractable, freestanding, etc.)
No branded signage, including tabletop signs or stands
A custom logo sign will be provided by Merexa Events and placed on your table as part of our unified market design.
4. Cleanliness & Conduct
Your booth must be kept clean, professional, and organized throughout the event.
Vendors are expected to treat fellow vendors, mall staff, and Merexa team members with respect and professionalism.
Negative behavior, slander, or unprofessional conduct may result in immediate removal without refund.
5. Product Limitations
Only items that were clearly listed and approved in your application may be sold at the event.
Prohibited items include: weapons, offensive content, or unlicensed resale goods.
6. Sales Reporting
Upper Canada Mall requires vendors to report daily and total gross sales after the event.
You agree to submit this data to Merexa Inc. within 3 days of the event’s end. This data is used for internal analysis and mall reporting only.
7. Food Vendor Requirements (If Applicable)
Food vendors must comply with York Region Public Health regulations.
Merexa Events will notify public health authorities of your participation, if applicable.
You may be asked to provide a valid Food Handler Certificate, and your booth may be subject to inspection.
No on-site cooking, heating, or sampling is allowed unless explicitly approved in writing.
All food-related equipment must be pre-approved and fully contained within your assigned space. Vendors are responsible for waste disposal and cleanup.
8. Liability & Sales Disclaimer
Merexa Inc. and Upper Canada Mall are not liable for any lost, stolen, or damaged items.
You are responsible for securing your products and equipment at all times.
Sales are not guaranteed. While Merexa will promote the event heavily, vendors are responsible for engaging customers and managing their own sales.
9. Promotion & Media Usage
By applying, you give Merexa Events permission to use your business name, product photos, and booth visuals in promotions related to this and future markets.
