1. I understand that if I am selected to participate in the TSU-BCM P20 CURED Summer Research Program, I am expected to complete an uninterrupted 8-week FULL-TIME assignment in a research lab or program at Baylor College of Medicine, depending on the availability of the Principal Investigator.
2. I understand that if accepted into this program, I can provide the following documents by April 2026: I-9 documentation, vaccine records, TB test results (more information will be provided shortly after acceptance)
3. I understand that I will not be allowed to commit to other programs, camps, or activities during that time.
4. I understand that as a condition of this position, I am required to prepare an abstract and give a poster or podium presentation as per the guidance of my lab mentor.
5. I understand that the stipend (not salary) offered with this position will be paid at both TSU and BCM per the payment structure of both institutions
6. I understand that the timing of the stipend payment will be communicated at the start of the program and is subject to change. 
7. I understand that I will be responsible for my housing and transportation during the summer research experience. 
8.  I understand that the stipend offered with this position does not replace a salary (job) needed to maintain necessities (housing, rent, food, etc.) and that I can maintain my own necessities (housing, rent, food, etc.) regardless of the timing of my stipend
9. I understand that I am required to stay engaged with my TSU and BCM Career Mentor and participate in community engagement/outreach during the Fall and Spring semesters following the summer experience.
