  • The Basilica of the National Shrine of the Immaculate Conception is pleased to welcome the relics of St. Thérèse of the Child Jesus (Lisieux). Join us on Thursday, November 20, through Saturday, November 22, to venerate the relics of this great saint and Doctor of the Church in the 100th year anniversary of her canonization in 1925.

    Priests are invited to concelebrate the 12:10 p.m. Shrine Mass on Thursday, November 20, through Saturday, November 22. Each Mass will take place in the Great Upper Church. Deacons are welcome to vest and attend Mass.

    The veneration of the relics spans November 20–22, with public opportunities to pray and participate surrounding the liturgies.

    • This registration is NOT for congregation tickets or reserved parking.
    • All Priests (diocesan and religious) registering who do NOT have Faculties in the Archdiocese of Washington, and all Deacons not incardinated in the Archdiocese are required to provide a Letter of Suitability BEFORE November 17, 2025. Instructions for submitting the Letter of Suitability will be provided in your confirmation email.
