Gig Worker Waiver Agreement
This Waiver and Release of Liability ("Agreement") is made between Gigs Pay 2Day “GP2” and the undersigned gig worker.

1. Acknowledgment of Independent Contractor Status
The Worker acknowledges that they are an independent contractor and not an employee, agent, or representative of the Gigs Pay 2Day “GP2” The Worker understands that all payments for work performed will be made directly by the hiring business, and Gigs Pay 2Day “GP2” is not responsible for any wages, benefits, or employment-related obligations.

2. Assumption of Risk & Waiver of Liability
The Worker acknowledges and agrees that:
Gigs Pay 2Day “GP2” is solely a platform connecting gig workers with local businesses and is not responsible for the work environment, conditions, or safety measures.
Any injuries, damages, or losses sustained while performing work are the sole responsibility of the Worker and/or the hiring business.
The Worker releases the Gigs Pay 2Day “GP2” from any claims, liabilities, damages, or expenses related to injuries, accidents, or incidents occurring while using the platform.

3. Insurance Responsibility
The Worker understands that any workplace injuries must be addressed through the hiring business’s insurance, if applicable. The Worker agrees not to hold the Gigs Pay 2Day “GP2” liable for any claims arising from their work assignments.

4. 1099 Responsibility
As an independent contractor, the Worker is solely responsible for tracking their income and filing taxes accordingly. Gigs Pay 2Day “GP2” is not obligated to provide tax documentation, including Form 1099-NEC, unless legally required. Workers are encouraged to keep accurate records and consult a tax professional if needed.

5. Indemnification
The Worker agrees to indemnify and hold harmless the Gigs Pay 2Day “GP2” from any claims, losses, or damages arising from their actions while performing work.

6. Agreement & Signature
By signing below, the Worker acknowledges that they have read and understood this waiver and voluntarily agree to its terms.
