• Beachy Head Marathon, Ultra, 10k & Half Marathon Volunteer Application 2026

  • Welcome back Volunteers! Thank you again for giving up your time to assist us with the Beachy Head Marathon Events in 2026. If you've volunteered with us before, you'll know it is an incredibly unique & rewarding experience, giving you the chance to bring the event to life for our fantastic participants - whether you're marshalling the course, giving out medals to finishers, assisting in the food hall or water stations, there is a role for everyone!

    Please complete the short form below & a member of the team will be in touch from September 2026 to confirm where you'll be positioned and at what times you are required.

    The Half Marathon on Sunday will set off at 08.00am.

  • Criminal Convictions

    Criminal Convictions Under the Rehabilitation of Offenders Act 1974 (Exceptions) order 1975 (as amended in 2013) Guidance and criteria on the filtering of these cautions and convictions can be found on the Disclosure & Barring Service Website: www.gov.uk/organisations/disclosure-and-barring-service.
  • Have you ever been convicted of a criminal offence in the past which has not become "spent" under the Rehabilitation of Offenders Act 1974?*
  • Are you subject to pending criminal prosecution or proceedings?*
  • Once all applications have been processed and positions allocated, a volunteers briefing will take place online via Microsoft Teams at 18:00 Monday the 19th of October 2026. A link to this meeting will be sent to all volunteers via email nearer the time. It is advisable to have the free Microsoft Teams application downloaded in advance to your PC/Laptop/Mobile or Tablet.

    Your allocated volunteer position will be sent to you in an email.

    Hoodie collection and volunteer packs will be distributed to all volunteers between 08:00 - 18:00 on Tuesday the 13th of October 2026 location TBC. 

    If you are not local to Eastbourne, you can collect your volunteer pack on the day of the event. However, we advise collecting this on Tuesday the 13th if you are able.
