      KEY AREAS OF ACCOUNTABILITY

      • Develop in-depth knowledge of Save the Children’s programmes in Hong Kong, Asia, and globally, and be able to present them effectively.
      • Cultivate and strengthen relationships with prospective and existing Corporates, foundations and Institutional donors.
      • Assist the Team lead to implement strategies to cultivate donor segments, leveraging key signature events to engage new corporate supporters.
      • Perform relevant donor mapping and generating leads with donors
      • Solicitate sponsorships (cash/in-kind) to broaden the organisation’s network in fundraising.
      • Assist in conducting donor researches and provide administrative supports.

       

      QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCE

      • University graduate preferably major in sales & marketing, business administration, communications or related disciplines.
      • Minimum of 5 years’ work experience.  
      • Experience in business development, grant management, or fundraising is preferred. Prior experience with international development or humanitarian organisations is an asset.
      • Excellent interpersonal skills.  Adaptable and dynamic team player.
      • Excellent communication and language skills in English, Cantonese and Mandarin, both written and spoken.

      • Self-motivated and with the ambition to deliver the best fundraising outcomes for children in Hong Kong, China, and globally.
      • A confident and assertive communicator, able to challenge, inspire and lead to achieve targets.
      • Able to solve problems resourcefully and efficiently and hold a “can-do” attitude towards challenges and changes.
      • A good team player who is able to work alongside colleagues at all levels and with different teams.
