    The purpose of this form is to clearly outline the logistics of the scheme and receive details before the home survey. The form below should take no longer than 15 minutes to complete.
  • The Barrhill Greener Homes project (“the Project”) is a community-based initiative which is designed to support eligible households to make home energy upgrades for the purpose of improving energy efficiency, which shall be delivered by the Project Partners (as defined below).  
    As part of the Project, funding may be available for eligible households through a number of schemes, including, but not limited to the following: 
    ScottishPower ECO4/GBIS scheme; 
    Barrhill Community Benefit Contribution scheme; and 
    Any other relevant funding schemes that may be applicable. 
    (together, the “Schemes”). 

    Project Partners
     
     
    The Project is being delivered by the following organisations based in Barrhill, who are working in collaboration with ScottishPower Renewables; SPERL; and Hubbub. The details of each Project Partner is set out below: - 
     BARRHILL DEVELOPMENT TRUST, a registered charity (Charity number: SC049162) and having its registered address at Barrhill Memorial Hall, Main Street, Barrhill (“BDT”);  
    BARRHILL COMMUNITY INTEREST COMPANY, a community interest company registered in Scotland (Company number: SC348907) and having its registered address at Barrhill Memorial Hall, Main Street, Barrhill  (“BCIC”); 
    SCOTTISHPOWER RENEWABLES (UK) LTD, a company registered in Northern Ireland (Company number: NI028425 ) and having its registered address at The Soloist, 1 Lanyon Place, Belfast BT1 3LP (“ScottishPower Renewables”);  
    SCOTTISHPOWER ENERGY RETAIL LIMITED , a company registered in Scotland (Company number: SC190287) and having its registered address at 320 St. Vincent Street, Glasgow, G2 5AD (“SPERL”); 
    and HUBBUB FOUNDATION UK, a registered charity (Charity number: 1158700) and having its registered address at Somerset House, Strand, London WC2R 1LA  (“Hubbub”)  
    (together, the “Project Partners”).

    Eligibility Criteria 

    In order to qualify for funding under one of the Schemes, the following criteria shall apply: 

    • The household must be in the Barrhill Community Council area, as established by the Community Council Boundaries – Scotland and shown on the map available on the Government’s website linked here: https://www.data.gov.uk/dataset/1d488abe-f8e8-4ff0-b7b7-9c976b9bce64/community-council-boundaries-scotland#:~:text=Summary,Scottish%20Government%20SpatialData.gov.scot; (A map indicating community council boundaries is also provided by the Improvement Service here) 
    • The household must be the main permanent residence of the individual applying; 
    • The individual must be over the age of 18; and 
    • The individual must be legally resident in Great Britain. 

    The following properties shall not be considered an eligible household and shall be excluded from the Project: 

    • Properties which are wholly commercial; 
    • Second homes; and 
    • Holiday lets. 

    Further eligibility criteria may apply in respect of each of the Schemes that may be available in respect of the Project. [The relevant Scheme shall set out any specific eligibility criteria in its full terms and conditions.]

    By participating in the Project, you agree to the Project Partners using, and sharing your personal information with each other, only as necessary for the purposes of: 

    1. Providing you with further information about the Project; 
    2. Assessing your eligibility for ECO4, GBIS and other similar Schemes; 
    3. Assessing your eligibility for the Barrhill Community Benefit Contribution Scheme;  
    4. Assisting you to apply for Home Energy Scotland (HES) grant and loan funding; 
    5. Providing you with proposals and any costs for home energy upgrades; 
    6. Providing support to you during installation works for services including, but not limited to, clean heating systems; energy efficiency measures; and renewable power and mobility; 
    7. Administering surveys and analysing Project outcomes; and  
    8. Providing you with information about other products and services provided by the Project Partners that may be relevant in the context of the Project. 

    This personal information includes but is not limited to: 

    1. Contact details (name, email address, phone number, address and postcode);  
    2. Information about your residence (property type, address, construction details, presence of low carbon technologies, how you heat your home and hot water); 
    3. Information about your household (occupancy, Priority Services Register status, vulnerabilities); and 
    4. Energy usage and billing information. 

    BDT’s Data Protection Policy shall apply to any personal information processed by BDT in connection with the Project. This policy can be found here.

    BCIC’s Privacy Policy shall apply to any personal information processed by BCIC in connection with the Project. BCIC have appointed Foundation Scotland to administer applications for Barrhill Community Benefit funding on behalf of BCIC.  BCIC and Foundation Scotland have a joint privacy notice that can be found here.

    ScottishPower Renewables’ Privacy Statement shall apply to any personal information processed by ScottishPower Renewables in connection with the Project. This Statement can be found here.
     
    SPERL’s Privacy Information Notice shall apply to any personal information processed by ScottishPower in connection with the Project. This notice can be found here.  

    Hubbub’s Data Protection Policy shall apply to any personal information processed by Hubbub in connection with the Project. This policy can be found here.

    Each of the Project Partners is individually responsible for its own compliance with the data protection legislation and you may be provided with further additional privacy information at a later stage.  For example, if you apply for funding through the ECO4/GBIS Scheme, you will be provided with an appropriate notice about use of your personal information specific to those schemes. 

    The Project Partners may also pass your personal information to SPERL’s third-party assessors, installers and technical teams to book your assessment and improvement installation.  

    Data Retention 
    The Project Partners will retain your information until the end of the Project. Once the Project has ended, the Project Partners shall promptly review the information processed about you and any information which is no longer required will be deleted or anonymised. SPERL may retain information about measures installed under the Project beyond the end of the Project for the purpose of continuing to meet your ongoing energy needs.
