HCID Education and Workshop Registration

Please join us for a presentation on high-consequence infectious disease preparedness in Virginia including an overview of the Regional Emerging Special Pathogen Treatment Centers (RESPTCs) system. In addition, we will facilitate a detailed discussion regarding how an HCID patient would work their way through our regional healthcare facilities including notifications, identification, transport, PPE, staffing, waste, and treatment.
When: February 19, 2026 from 09:00 am -4:00 pm

- Lunch will be on your own.
- Please bring relevant and related policies/SOPs to refer to and review.
- Due to space constraints, we are targeting ED, infectious disease/prevention, transport, VDH, Emergency Management and those directly involved cleaning/disposal. Please consider limiting the number of staff from your facility.
- Free parking on site.
- We will provide a list of registered names to on site security for easier entry to the campus.
