Two non-residential studios are available by application in 2026. The studios are located at 27 Tasma St, North Hobart, above the Contemporary Art Tasmania (CAT) offices. In addition to a studio space, successful applicants will have access to CAT staff and support, and professional development opportunities.

Assessment criteria

• How clear your artistic goals are for the year and how the studio will support any upcoming projects, exhibitions, or outcomes you’re currently working towards
• How much having a studio would help you grow and develop as an artist
• How well you can show your commitment to building an ongoing creative practice
