The Persimmon Collective Fund (PCF) invites applications for $10,000 in funding to support BIPOC farmers with infrastructure and on-farm needs.
The PCF's values center on land and food justice, the importance of deep relationships in agrarian work, collective work and collective harvest integrated into community care, and sees farm and land based operations as part of a broader food systems strategy.
Funding priority will be given to projects that focus on regenerative agriculture or agro ecology, collective and cooperative agricultural organizing and practices, preserving tradition and agrarian cultural practices, intergenerational farming communities (working in some capacity across generations), as well as food security and community care.
IMPORTANT FUNDING NOTE
With widespread funding needs in the states we serve, we are hoping to widen the pool of applicants that receive funding this year. Therefore, if you received a full $10,000 grant in the past 2 years (2025 or 2024) you are NOT eligible to apply this year. If you received a partial grant, you may still apply.
If you have any questions about whether you are eligible to apply, please feel free to reach out to nikki@persimmoncollective.org.
Submissions:
We will not be accepting video submissions this year, but feel free to upload any supportive video documentation on the last question of the application. Please submit responses in this form.
