The total size of the space available is 22m frontage x 12m depth for a covered bar space and adjoining area for outside seating space.

PLUS a 7m x 9m area for the 2nd bar. You will be required to apply for 2 temporary event notices from NKDC. A marquee is not provided.

We expect you to take reasonable steps to avoid alcohol being taken outside the bar area by way of signage at the door. If we get a problem with too many people in the aisles near the bar then our security may strictly enforce the signage and move people from the aisles.

TERMS AND CONDITIONS

Food retailers agree to comply with all existing Food Safety and Hygiene Regulations.

The retailer will be required to provide proof of both registration of the premises and appropriate training for staff (as specified by the Food Premises (Registration) Regulations 1991 and the Food Safety (General Food Hygiene) Regulations 1995.

The retailer is to be available for inspection prior to the event on the request of North Kesteven District Council, and at any time during the event.

Proof of a minimum of £10m Public Liability insurance, PAT electrical and fire safety certificates and risk assessments will be required from successful tenders.

Heckington & District Agricultural Society shall accept no liability whatsoever for any losses suffered by the applicants in the event that the Heckington Show is cancelled, or there shall be any alteration to its date or venue at short notice or otherwise. All deposits will be refunded in the event that the organisers have to cancel the event in advance.
