Submission Terms & Conditions
By submitting your course proposal, you acknowledge and agree to the following:
Review Process: All submissions are subject to review by our selection committees. Submission does not guarantee acceptance or presentation at the Code Comply Summit.
Non-Proprietary Content: All materials submitted, including course descriptions, outlines, and presentation content, are considered non-proprietary. You warrant that you have the right to share this content and that it does not infringe upon any third-party intellectual property rights.
Livestreaming & Recording: All accepted courses will be livestreamed to remote audiences during the event and may be recorded. By presenting, you grant permission for your session to be broadcast live and potentially archived.
Promotional Use: CodeComply Summit Staff and the Code Enforcement Chapter of Orange County (CECOC) reserve the right to use your name, likeness, biographical information, course materials, and session content (including recordings, photographs, and promotional clips) for marketing, promotional, and educational purposes across all media platforms, including but not limited to social media, websites, newsletters, and future event promotions.
Retained Rights: While you retain ownership of your original content, you grant CodeComply Summit and CECOC a perpetual, royalty-free, non-exclusive license to use the submitted and presented materials as described above.
