Please complete the form below to apply for a US HUPO 2026 Undergraduate Travel Award. The conference is February 21-25, 2026 in St. Louis, Missouri.
The award application must be completed in full to be considered, so please make sure you have all the required documents before you submit.
The deadline is December 5, 2025.
Award Policies and Procedures:
- You must be a undergraduate or postbaccalaureate student to apply for an award.
- You do not have to be registered for US HUPO 2026 to apply for the award.
- The award consists of complimentary conference registration, US HUPO membership for one year, two nights of accommodations, and $500 for reimbursement of travel expenses.
- Awards are non-transferrable.
- You will need to provide a preliminary or completed abstract (maximum of 300 words) with your application.
- A letter of recommendation from a mentor/PI is required.
- If you have already registered and receive an award, your registration fees will be refunded.
You cannot save and return to this application. The application must be completed and submitted in its entirety. The deadline to submit the award application is December 5, 2025.
If you receive an award, you must submit an abstract during either the regular abstract period (by Nov. 19) OR during the late breaker poster abstract period from Monday, January 5, 2026 to Friday, January 16, 2026. If you do not submit an abstract by Friday, January 16, 2026, the award will be rescinded. Poster disposition notices will be sent in early February 2026.
Undergraduate award disposition notices will be sent on December 12, 2025.
