EVA Second Semester Electives 2026
Quarter 3
1) 3D Art & Mixed Media: Alternative Materials (Visual Arts)
Experiment with sculpture and design using a mix of traditional and nontraditional materials. Students will create 3D projects that combine texture, shape, and personal creativity.
2) Culinary Arts & Media: Baking Lab (Culinary Arts)
Step into the world of baking while documenting the process like a food creator. Students will practice baking skills, explore recipes, and share their creations through photography or video.
3) Creative Storytelling Through Photography (Digital Photography & Media)
Learn to tell powerful stories without words. Students will practice framing, lighting, and sequencing to create photo essays that capture emotions and ideas.
4) Stagecraft & Theatre Design: Behind the Scenes (Theatre Arts)
Explore the backstage world of theatre. Students will design sets, props, and costumes while learning how technical elements bring performances to life.
5) Inventions & Creative Problem Solving (Building & Engineering)
Think like an inventor! Students will brainstorm everyday challenges, sketch possible solutions, and build simple models to test their ideas.
6) Songwriting & Lyrics as Literature (Music & Creative Expression)
Write your own lyrics and explore how music tells stories. Students will study powerful songs, practice writing techniques, and create original works that express their voice.
7) Product Design & Innovation (Business & Entrepreneurship)
Turn ideas into possibilities by exploring how products are designed. Students will sketch, plan, and pitch creative solutions that meet real-world needs.
Quarter 4
8) Visual Storytelling & Illustration: Art with a Message (Visual Arts)
Use art to share a message. Students will illustrate original stories, posters, or comics that express ideas, emotions, or causes they care about.
9) Baking & Pastry Arts: Food & Presentation (Culinary Arts)
Learn the art of baking with a focus on style and taste. Students will create pastries, breads, and desserts, exploring how presentation can elevate the dining experience.
10) Media Arts & Digital Design: Design for Impact (Digital Photography & Media)
Combine creativity and purpose in digital projects. Students will use free design tools to create posters, graphics, and media pieces that inform or inspire change.
11) Solo Theatre Production: Virtual Showcase (Theatre Arts)
Develop, perform, and share an original solo piece. Students will write, rehearse, and record a monologue, character sketch, or scene to present to an audience.
12) Sustainable & Green Design Projects (Building & Engineering)
Explore eco-friendly solutions through hands-on design. Students will learn about sustainability and create models that use renewable or recycled materials.
13) Intro to Digital Music Creation (Music & Creative Expression)
Step into digital sound production. Students will use beginner-friendly apps to compose, remix, and experiment with beats, melodies, and rhythms.
14) Pitch & Launch: Build Your Own Business Idea (Business & Entrepreneurship)
Go from concept to pitch! Students will design, brand, and present a business idea, practicing the skills of creativity, problem solving, and entrepreneurial thinking.
Please choose you Quarters, payment type and courses below. Once the enrollment form is received the $25 registration fee will be invoiced and must be paid to reserve your spot. Full course tuition is $140 per course due on the dates indicated below.
