    Cape Charles/Chesapeake Bay KOA Resort - April 17-19, 2026
  • Rally Description:

    Join us for spring breezes and sunsets over the Chesapeake Bay in charming Cape Charles VA. We will camp just steps from the Chesapeake Bay in the Blue Point section of the resort.

  • RESERVE YOUR SITE:

    Our reserved sites are 609-615 and 626-630. 

    The camping rate (after discounts) is $57.86 for Thursday (early arrival) - $66.76 for Friday and Saturday(plus a $10 resort fee per day). Please identify as a member of the VAC109 Airstream rally.

    To reserve a campsite you must call in your reservation to the Cape Charles/ Chesapeake KOA before March 2, 2026. Any unreserved sites will be released by that date, but there may be additional availability adjacent to or nearby our group.

    • 1:00 pm Check In 
    • 2:00 - 6:00 pm Explore on your own (suggestions provided) 
    • 6:00 - TBD Group Dinner (Possibly at the Shanty, Cape Charles) 

    Friday, 17 April 2026 - Day One 

    • 1:00 - 4:00 pm Check In 
    • 5:00 - 6:00 pm Happy Hour 
    • 5:00 - 6:00 pm Group Dinner "Pot Luck” to be held at the Sunset Bluff area. Bring your set-up and your drink. 
      • There is no power or water at Sunset Bluff.
    • Evening Campfire at hosts bring your chairs. 

    Saturday, 18 April 2026 - Day Two 

    • 8:00 - 10:00 am Hot Breakfast- Full Blackstone Brigade Breakfast bring your set-up, your coffee and your appetite.
    • 10:00 am - 5:00 pm Explore downtown Cape Charles and surrounding area (some suggestions provided). 
    • 5:30 - 7:30 pm Group Dinner "Cape Charles Brewing Company” Pay as you go… 
    • Sunday, 19 April 2026 - Day Three 
    • 8:00 - 9:00 am Grab and Go Breakfast Bring your set up and your coffee 9:00 - 10:00 am Devotional 
    • 10:00 am - TBD Departure

    Kayak launching and fishing are both available at the KOA of Kiptopeke State park. This early in the season, might be best to bring your own boat. 

    There are trails at Kiptopeke State Park and also at Savage Neck Dunes for hiking and wildlife watching (be on the lookout for “Chessie” the bay’s sea monster).

    We are supporting The Foodbank of Southeastern Virginia and the Eastern Shore. They have said that a year round need is for non-perishable protein sources (ie canned chicken, tuna and peanut butter) and diapers. They will appreciate our donations.
