Wilkerson Center Field Trips are offered Tuesday through Friday during Spring (Feb-May) and Fall (Sept-Dec).

Field Trips consist of three stations and a lunch break and typically take place from 9:30am-1:00pm. If you need to adjust the time please elaborate in the Questions/Comments/Concerns box below.

Our hands-on, TEKS-aligned activities are designed for 3rd-5th grade students.

Field Trip Capacity for a single visit is 30-60 students. Field trips for 60+ students must be booked over multiple dates. For groups with less than 30 students, please email programs@coloradoriver.org for more information.

CRA’s Wilkerson Center Field Trips are provided free of charge for Title I schools. We also offer a limited number of bus scholarships to Title I schools to assist with transportation costs.

For non-Title I schools, there is a fee of $6 per student. Up to five adult chaperones per visit are allowed free of charge, including teachers. Invoices are sent directly to the school after completion of the field trip(s) and are due within 30 days of receipt.
