We make our certified organic lard with the fat back and leaf lard from our pasture raised pigs. We render it on our wood cook stove and then freeze it in quart containers. We sell it locally and also ship frozen lard in plastic quart containers, packed in insulated boxes sized to contain 1 to 4 quarts. $25/quart + shipping

Frozen - Whole chicken parts are cooked down for 24 hours in a large pot of water with added Celtic sea salt and a 1/2 cup of MHOF apple cider vinegar. Bones are removed and the meat, fat, skin and cartilage are pureed with the cooled cooking liquid in a VitaMix, then packed in quart plastic containers and frozen. Chicken stock is made from old layers and meat bird feet

Our bitters blend has dandelion root, burdock root, yellow dock root, wormwood, tulsi (all from our farm) and organic purchased angelica root. The herbs were steeped in organic vodka for at least two months. Bitters are best taken about 10 minutes before each meal. A few drops of bitters minutes before a meal can prime your digestive juices and help prevent gas, bloating and feelings of heaviness.
