Queen Victoria Women’s Centre (QVWC)
Our vision is that all women and gender diverse people have a place where they are welcomed, valued and celebrated and have the power to determine their present and future. Our purpose is to hold and create space for Victorian women and gender diverse people to thrive.
The Exhibition Program provides the opportunity for Victorian women to exhibit their creative work in a CBD location and to be part of the QVWC community. The program aims to build an artist’s profile, networks, experience and engage new audiences to QVWC.
Exhibition Selection Criteria
QVWC Exhibition Program is selected through a number of criteria including the consideration for emerging artists, mid-career and well-established artists. Expressions of Interests are assessed according to the following criteria:

- Concept – the thematic ideas are well considered, clear and innovative
- Alignment – the concepts align with QVWC’s Strategic Plan (mission, vision and priorities)
- Engagement – the exhibition will attract new audiences, engage visitors to QVWC and deliver public activations
- Ensuring you have read the Birnbeal Exhibitor's Information Booklet
