TERMS AND CONDITIONS
ConnectEducation Center for Global Education and Training
(“ConnectED” / “the Organizer”)
By registering for, attending, or participating in any seminar, workshop, class, training, lecture, demonstration, or online program (“Event”) organized by ConnectEducation Center for Global Education and Training, the participant (“Registrant”) acknowledges that they have read, understood, and agreed to be bound by these Terms and Conditions.
Scope of Application
These Terms and Conditions apply to all Events organized by ConnectED, including but not limited to:
In-person seminars, workshops, and trainings
Online or virtual programs
Hybrid events
Lectures, demonstrations, and professional courses
across all disciplines and professional fields offered by the Organizer.
2. Registration and Attendance
2.1. Registration is voluntary and confirmed only upon full payment of the applicable fees.
2.2. Registrants are responsible for ensuring that all registration details provided are accurate and complete. Errors in registration details shall not be grounds for refund, correction beyond administrative discretion, or reassignment of benefits.
2.3. Failure to attend an Event, whether in whole or in part, does not entitle the Registrant to any refund, credit, or compensation, except as expressly provided in these Terms.
3. Fees, Payment Methods, and Charges
3.1. Event fees must be paid in full at the time of registration, unless otherwise expressly stated by the Organizer.
3.2. The Organizer may offer various payment options for selected Events, including bank transfer, e-wallets, credit cards, or online payment gateways. Not all payment methods are available for all Events.
3.3.Credit card and online payment gateway transactions may incur additional processing, convenience, or service fees*, which shall be fully borne by the Registrant. These fees are non-refundable and non-transferable.
3.4. Any payment deficiencies or errors arising from the Registrant’s actions shall be settled prior to Event participation.
4. No-Refund Policy and Limited Transferability
4.1. *All registration fees are strictly non-refundable, regardless of reason.
4.2. In lieu of refunds, a registration may be:
Transferred to another participant, or
Applied to a future Event,
subject to all of the following conditions:
The transfer or application must occur within six (6) months from the original Event date;
A written request must be submitted at least fifteen (15) business days prior to the scheduled Event; and
Approval is subject to Organizer discretion and Event availability.
4.3. Registrations not transferred or used within the six (6)-month period shall be deemed forfeited.

5. Official Receipts, Taxes, and Documentation
5.1. Official Receipts (ORs) shall be issued by ConnectEd Kids Therapy Center, an affiliate of the Organizer, in compliance with Bureau of Internal Revenue (BIR) regulations.
5.2. Registrants requesting ORs under a company or third-party name must provide complete and accurate billing details (company name, TIN, and address) at least two (2) weeks prior to the Event. Failure to do so will result in issuance under the Registrant’s personal name.
5.3. Requests for additional documentation (e.g., affidavits, certifications, employer-specific forms, notarized documents, or special reports) are subject to Organizer approval and may incur administrative fees.
5.4. Any taxes, fees, or charges beyond those reflected in the OR (including employer-imposed withholding taxes, additional VAT, or third-party requirements) shall be solely borne by the Registrant.
6. Online and Virtual Events
6.1. Certain Events may be delivered online or in hybrid format. While the Organizer shall exert reasonable efforts to ensure quality delivery, Online Events are inherently dependent on technology and digital networks.
6.2. Technical issues such as internet instability, disconnections, audio or visual disruptions, platform limitations, power interruptions, or device incompatibility are inherent risks of live online programs and shall not entitle the Registrant to refunds, credits, or compensation.
6.3. Registrants are responsible for ensuring adequate internet access, compatible devices, and a suitable environment for participation.
7. Recording of Events
7.1. Recording of any Event is subject to the prior approval and sole discretion of the speaker and/or guest lecturer. The Organizer does not guarantee that any session will be recorded.
7.2. The Organizer is under no obligation to record any Event, regardless of format.
7.3. If recording is approved and made available, the method of access, platform, duration of availability, viewing schedule, replay limitations, download restrictions, and withdrawal of access shall be determined solely at the discretion of the Organizer.
7.4. The Organizer makes no representation or warranty as to the completeness, accuracy, or technical quality of any recording. Recordings are not a substitute for live attendance.
7.5. The absence, limitation, delay, or removal of recordings shall not give rise to any refund, credit, transfer, or claim.
7.6. Unauthorized recording, capturing, downloading, reproduction, or distribution of any portion of the Event is strictly prohibited and may result in removal from the Event without refund and legal action.
8. Changes, Force Majeure, and Program Modifications
8.1. The Organizer reserves the right to modify Event details, including schedules, speakers, format, or venue, as operationally necessary.
8.2. The Organizer shall not be liable for delays, cancellations, or changes caused by force majeure events, including but not limited to natural disasters, pandemics, government restrictions, speaker illness, transportation disruptions, or venue unavailability.
8.3. In such cases, rescheduling or transfer of registration shall constitute the sole remedy available to the Registrant.
9. Medical Emergencies
9.1. Registrants participate at their own risk and are responsible for their health and well-being.
9.2. Any medical emergencies (including fainting, dysmenorrhea, injury, allergic reactions, or illness) and all related expenses (e.g., ambulance services, hospital care, venue charges, or special accommodations) shall be solely at the Registrant’s expense.
10. Conduct and Safety
10.1. Registrants are expected to maintain professional, respectful, and ethical conduct at all times.
10.2. The Organizer reserves the right to deny admission or remove any individual whose behavior is disruptive, unsafe, unethical, or inappropriate, without refund.
11. Intellectual Property, Speakers, and Anti-Piracy
11.1. All Event content, including lectures, demonstrations, materials, methodologies, photos, videos, and recordings, are protected intellectual property of the Organizer and/or the speakers
11.2. Registrants may not reproduce, distribute, summarize, adapt, or commercially exploit any content without prior written consent from the Organizer and the speaker.
11.3. Unauthorized use constitutes a violation of the Intellectual Property Code of the Philippines and other applicable laws.
12. Protection of Patients, Clients, and PHI
12.1. For any live demonstrations or case presentations involving patients or clients, ConnectED shall secure prior informed consent from the individual or their legal guardian.
12.2. Registrants are strictly prohibited from recording, photographing, or capturing any patient- or client-related content.
12.3. Any misuse of Protected Health Information (PHI) may result in immediate removal from the Event and legal action under the Data Privacy Act of 2012.
13. CPD Accreditation (Onsite Events Only)
13.1. The Organizer may apply for Continuing Professional Development (CPD) accreditation for selected onsite Events only, subject to the policies and approval of the Professional Regulation Commission (PRC) or relevant accrediting body.
13.2. CPD units, if approved, shall apply exclusively to participants who attend the Event onsite and in full.
Attendance via online, virtual, livestream, or hybrid formats shall not be eligible for CPD units, unless expressly stated otherwise in writing by the Organizer.
13.3. Filing for CPD accreditation does not guarantee approval. Granting, modification, or denial of CPD units is solely at the discretion of the accrediting body.
13.4. No refund, credit, or claim shall arise from denial, delay, reduction, or modification of CPD accreditation.
13.5. Release of certificates and/or CPD units is subject to full payment, attendance verification, and compliance with evaluation or documentation requirements.
14. Data Privacy
14.1. Personal data shall be collected, processed, and stored in accordance with Republic Act No. 10173 (Data Privacy Act of 2012).
14.2. By registering, the Registrant consents to the processing of personal data for Event-related purposes, including certification, accreditation reporting, and communications.
15. Limitation of Liability
The Organizer’s total liability, if any, shall be limited to the amount of the registration fee paid. The Organizer shall not be liable for indirect, incidental, consequential, or special damages.
16. Amendments
The Organizer reserves the right to amend these Terms and Conditions at any time. Continued participation constitutes acceptance of the amended Terms.
17. Governing Law and Jurisdiction
These Terms and Conditions shall be governed by the laws of the Republic of the Philippines.
All disputes shall be filed exclusively in the proper courts of Silang, Cavite, Philippines.
