  • Vehicle Insurance Requirement for Parade Participation All parade entries that include a motorized vehicle must submit proof of current and valid automobile insurance in order to be considered for approval by the MLKCC Board. This insurance must meet the minimum coverage requirements as defined by Florida state law and must include liability protection appropriate for public events.

    Required Documentation: A copy of the vehicle's insurance policy or certificate of coverage (please submit copy) The name of the insured party and vehicle details (make, model, license plate)

  • Important Notice: Insurance coverage must be up to date and valid at the time of parade application submission and must remain active through the entire day of the event-Monday, January 19, 2026. Any lapse in coverage will result in automatic disqualification of the vehicle from parade participation.

    Failure to submit proper documentation by the stated deadline will result in removal of the vehicle from the parade lineup. This policy is in place to ensure the safety of all participants, volunteers, and spectators.
