Camp Misty Mountain has been a place where Girl Scouts tried riding horses under mountain skies, paddled across the lake, picked up a bow for the first time, and found friends and confidence along hiking trails and campfire nights. As we share the news of its future closure, we want to create a space for you to reflect, ask questions, and share what this camp has meant to you.
Your response will be reviewed privately by Council staff. While we may not be able to respond to every message individually, we truly appreciate and read everything that is shared.
As we continue the Girl Scout camp legacy at Camps Meriwether and Timber Ridge, we carry the memories and spirit of Camp Misty Mountain with us.
Thank you for taking a moment to share your voice. Camp Misty Mountain has helped generations of Girl Scouts grow in courage, confidence, and character and your stories help us honor that legacy as we move forward.
