    Bundle up and join us for Capotes & Cocoa this winter at one of our outdoor gatherings.
    Experience Red River Métis culture through traditional clothing, stories, games, and a lively kitchen-party. This family-friendly event takes place mainly outdoors, so be sure to dress for the weather.

    • MEDICAL RELEASE 
      1. To the best of my knowledge, my child is in good health and is equipped to meet the requirements to participate in this event.
      2. In the case of an emergency, I understand that every effort will be made to contact me. In the event I cannot be reached, I hereby give permission to the physician selected by the Manitoba Métis Federation to hospitalize, secure proper treatment, order injection, anaesthesia, or surgery for my child. In the event medication, medical advice, treatment and/or equipment are required, I agree to accept financial responsibility for fees in excess of provincial and/or private medical insurance.

      The Medical Release Form will remain confidential and will be used to ensure the well-being of each program/event participant.

    • TERMS & CONDITIONS, WAIVER AND PHOTO/VIDEO RELEASE 
      1. The Manitoba Métis Federation’s ELCC Department’s programs and community outreach initiatives, such as this event can involve certain elements of risks. Injuries (minor to serious) may occur while taking part in these types of activities.
        1. The chance of an injury occurring can be reduced by following instructions and respecting the Supervising Staff and other attendees.
        2. Participants are expected to follow the guidance and instruction of the Supervising Staff, follow the established rules, and partake in safe play decision making.
        3. Deviation from the above listed can result in consequences under discretion of the Supervising Staff onsite.
    • These releases shall be binding upon the participant, the undersigned, and the estates of the participant and the undersigned. I have read and understood all of the above releases.
