Safety-First Aid- Provide medical support, water, ice packs. Safety / Risk Volunteers: Make sure walkways are clear, courts are safe, help with crowd management.
Registration & Check-in: Help register teams when they arrive, check them in, hand out team packets / wristbands / t-shirts.Player Info. Desk: Provide info, answer questions (age divisions, schedule, rules).Bracket / Scheduling Support: Maintain brackets, update results, post game times, manage the
Score Keeper:Keep official score, manage game timing, record winners and bracket progress.
Referee: Call fouls, violations. In some “Junior” divisions, the “GusBuster” volunteers maintain law & order.
Cleanup / Waste Management: Trash / Recycling Crew: Ensure garbage bins are available and emptied, recycling is sorted, keep the space clean.
Court Setup & Teardown: Court Setup Crew: Set up hoops, nets, boundary lines, number signs, score tables, chairs.Teardown Crew: Take down courts, clean up, return rented or borrowed equipment.:
Hospitality / Player Services: : Help teams find their courts, answer questions about scheduling, direct them to rest areas.Water / Hydration Station: Manage water coolers, hand out water bottles. Volunteer & Player Lounge: Provide break areas, snacks.
