As a participant within Frontline Youth (a ministry of Christ Methodist Church), I understand and agree to support the following Code of Conduct:
- I will have a current Medical Release Form and Code of Conduct form on file before participating.
- I will abide within all student handbook expectations of Sumner County Schools for school campus events (including, but not limited to, no tobacco/vaping products, no weapons of any kind, and no clothing that distracts/reveals).
- From November 2nd-March 8th (during Daylight Savings Time), I agree to have a parent or aproved adult (21+) transport me home from Frontline.
- I will remain inside the site boundaries at all times:
- (Outside) West playground, within the fenced area or on the woodchip playground.
- (Indoors) Within the gym, primary hallway, restrooms adjacent to the primary hallway, or cafeteria.
- I will show respect toward the Gene Brown Elementary facility by:
- Remaining inside the designated site boundaries and staying out of areas that are out-of-bounds.
- Cleaning up after myself.
- Leaving the facility better than I found it.
- I will show respect toward my adult coaches by:
- Accepting their authority and supervision in a respectful, positive manner at all times.
- Listening attentively during lesson times.
- Silencing and putting away cell phones during Frontline sessions.
- I will show respect toward my fellow peers by:
- Treating others the way I would like to be treated.
- Refraining from foul language or degrading comments.
- Listening and not speaking or making distracting sounds/gestures while others are talking.
- Exercising self-control at all times to set a positive example for others to follow.
- (During any offsite activities) I agree to wear a seatbelt at all times while riding in vehciles and to wear all proper protective equipment during activities.
- I undertand that my conduct reflects myself, our youth group, and Christ to others. I agree to conduct myself in a manner that honors these capacities, understanding that:
- Should I fail to abide within these guidelines, I will be given up to (3) warnings.
- On the third warning, a parent will be contact and I will be sent home and unable to participate in the next offsite activity.
- If I am disrespectful toward a coach or damage the facility, I will be sent home immediately (on the first offense).
- If I am sent home twice in the same semester, I will be suspended from participation in all Frontline events for the remainder of the term.
