    The Taste of the Bayou Mardi Gras Cook-Off celebrates Cajun culture, delicious food, and community spirit!

    Competition Categories
    Gumbo – Traditional Cajun-style gumbo (meat and/or seafood).

    Red Beans & Rice – A staple Cajun comfort dish.

    Lagniappe Dessert – A little “something extra,” Cajun-inspired sweet treat.

    Best Set-Up – Judged on creativity, décor, and Mardi Gras spirit.

    Best Dressed Chef – Bring your festive style to the competition!

    Overall Champion Award – The team with the highest combined score across all food categories.

    Entry Information
    Full Team Entry Fee (All Categories): $100 – Includes Gumbo, Red Beans & Rice, Dessert, Best Set-Up, and Best Dressed Chef.

    Individual Category Entry Fees:

    -Gumbo – $50

    -Red Beans & Rice – $35

    -Lagniappe Dessert – $25

    -Best Set-Up – $10

    -Best Dressed Chef – $10
