Juneteenth 2026 Vendor Booth Form

WayOut Kids is partnering with sponsors to put on Juneteenth Celebration - A Road to Economic Freedom on Friday, June 19th from 11am-5pm in Tacoma, WA. We thank you for your support in advance! Building Youth Through Music, dba WayOut Kids, is a 501(c)(3) non-profit agency (Tax ID# 41-2194382)

What You Need to Know - ALL VENDORS

Vendor spots are 10x10 booths
Vendors are responsible for bringing their own tables, chairs, 10x10 canopy, weights to hold down your canopy (sand bags / gallons of water - Note: nothing can be staked in the ground) generators and products to sell. (There will be no access to power)
Booth fees are non-refundable (unless the event is canceled by organizers) they are used to cover costs of supplies, rental of the space, and marketing. This event will be held outdoors, rain or shine.

Note: It is up to Vendors to ensure they have the appropriate business licensing from the city of Tacoma or Washington state.

What You Need to Know - FOOD VENDORS/TRUCKS

IF YOU NEED A FOOD HANDLERS PERMIT AND ARE SELLING FOOD YOU MUST SIGN UP AS A FOOD TRUCK OR FOOD BOOTH.

Please sign-up as a FOOD TRUCK if you use a vehicle, trailer or if you will be bringing a generator AND/OR any sort of gas cooking setups. Sign-up as a FOOD VENDOR if you only require a 10x10 (or 10x20) booth to prepare & serve food.

You are required to obtain a permit from the Pierce County Health Department; view the application for the temporary permit HERE.
The fee for the permit varies dependent on the type of food that will be sold. The fee schedule can be found here.

NOTE: The Health Department recommends applying at least 2 weeks prior to the event, and they may charge a late fee for applications closer to the event date.

What You Need to Know - NON-PROFIT VENDORS

To qualify for the Non-Profit Vendor rate, you are required to upload your IRS Determination Letter at the bottom of this form. Failure to provide this document will result in the forfeiture of your vendor space and refund.
