A key part of Scotland + Venice is the Professional Development Programme (PDP) which offers a once in a lifetime paid opportunity for 17 students and early career visual arts professionals the chance to spend time in Venice during the Biennale. Outer Spaces is seeking 3 individuals to fulfil the role of Senior Exhibition Associate in Venice, as part of the Scotland + Venice Professional Development Programme (PDP). The role offers you the chance to gain leadership experience through leading a team of associates, develop your communication and facilitation skills, and engage with audiences in an internationally renowned cultural context. You will support the public’s understanding of a major new artwork while expanding your professional practice in dialogue with peers from around the world. What you will bring to the role
You will be based in Venice for ten weeks, while others will join you on a four-week rotation. This means you will work with three different groups of people over the course of the programme. As this is a highly collaborative experience, you’ll be working alongside individuals from a wide range of backgrounds, interests, and experiences.
