I understand that Warm Beach Camp does not provide primary accident or health insurance for participants and that it is my responsibility to maintain such covereage.
Permission to Participate and Release of Liability
I am the participant, or the parent or legal guardian of the participant, and I voluntarily consent to participation in activities operated or hosted by Warm Beach Camp and Conference Center ("Warm Beach Camp"), including but not limited to horseback riding, equestrian vaulting, ground activities, facility use, and transportation to or from activities, whether on or off Warm Beach Camp premises.
Assumption of Risk and Inherent Risks of Equine Activities
I acknowledge and understand that horseback riding and equestrian vaulting are classified as rugged adventure recreational sport activities and that inherent risks exist which cannot be eliminated regardless of the care taken. These risks include, but are not limited to:
- Unpredictable behavior of horses or other animals
- Falls from a horse or mounting/dismounting areas
- Equipment failure or improper fit
- Surface and environment conditions
- Actions of other participants
- Risk of serious injury, permanent disability, or death
I understand that horses are large, powerful animals that may react unpredictably to sounds, movements, terrain, weather, people, or other animals, even when properly trained and handled.

I am not relying on Warm Beach Camp to list all possible risks. I voluntarily assume all inherent and known risks associated with participation on behalf of myself and/or the minor participant.
Washington State Equine Activity Law
I acknowledge that under the Washington State Equine Activity Liability Act (Revised Code of Washington (RCW) 4.24.530, an equine activity sponsor or equine professional is generally not liable for injuries or death resulting from the inherent risks of equine activities.
Release and Waiver of Liability
In consideration for being allowed to participate, I hereby release, waive, and discharge Warm Beach Camp & Conference Center, including its employees, officers, board members, volunteers, contractors, agents, and guests, from any and all claims, demands, actions, or causes of action for injury, illness, loss, or damage arising out of or related to participation in Warm Beach Camp activities, including claims based on oridinary negligence, to the fullest extent permitted by Washington law.

This release applies to incidents occuring before, during, or after participation and includes activities both on and off Warm Beach Camp property, including transportation.

This release does not apply to acts of gross negligence, reckless conduct, or willful misconduct to the extent such liability cannot be waived under Washington law.
Minor Participant - Indemnification and Agreement
If the participant is under 18 years of age, I affirm that I am the parent or legal guardian of the minor participant. I understand that Washington law may limit my ability to waive certain claims on behalf of a minor. To the fullest extent permitted by law, I agree to indemnify, defend, and hold harmless Warm Beach Camp and Conference Center from any claims, actions, damages, or expenses (including reasonable attorney's fees) brought by or on behalf of the minor participant arising out of the minor's participation in Warm Beach Camp activities.
Rules, Policies, and Instructions
I agree that the participant will comply with all Warm Beach Camp rules, policies, posted signage, safety guidelines, and staff instructions. Failure to do so may result in removal from activities without refund.
Medical Treatment Authorization
I authorize Warm Beach Camp staff to provide first aid and emergency care to the participant within the scope of their training. I further authorize emergency medical services to evaluate, treat, and transport the participant as deemed necessary.

I understand that emergency treatment may include hospitalization, diagnostic procedures, injections, anesthesia, or surgery if recommended by medical professionals. Every reasonable effort will be made to notify a parent or guardian when a minor requires off-site medical care.
Concussion Acknowledgement
By signing below, I acknowledge that I have read and agree to the concussion information and release of liability as posted on the Warm Beach Camp website: https://www.warmbeach.com/camps/horsemanship/horse-riding-lessons/
Photography & Media Release
I grant permission for Warm Beach Camp to use my likeness and/or my child's likeness in photographs, video, or other media for promotional or education purposes, without compensation or obligation.
Personal Property
I understand that Warm Beach Camp is not responsible for loss, theft, or damage to personal property while on its premises or participating in its programs.
