-I understand that baseball activities involve inherent risks, including but not limited to: contact with equipment, mishits, slips, or other accidental impacts.
-I release and hold harmless 406 SwingLab, SwingLab Development Group LLC, its owner(s), employees, and contractors from any liability for injuries or damages that may occur during bat fittings or swing evaluations, whether inside the trailer, outside the trailer, at a field, batting cage, or at any partner facility.
-I accept full responsibility for my player’s safety and behavior during the session.
-I acknowledge that the session is voluntary and that my player is physically able to participate.
-I understand the bat fitting fee/s and agree to provide payment at or before the start of the session.

-Signature Bat Fitting Breakdown:
Signature Bat Fittings with 406 SwingLab include a data and video analysis of the player’s current gamer bat (when applicable) and up to three demo bats using Blast Motion technology. Sessions run approximately 45–60 minutes and are conducted at a local field or batting cage in the St. Johns, FL area unless otherwise arranged with 406 SwingLab.
Players will hit off a tee with data/video capture on approximately 10–15 swings per bat tested. The bat fitter will evaluate both visual swing quality and Blast Motion swing metrics. Using the 406 SwingLab proprietary bat-scoring system, each bat will be scored and ranked, and a recommendation will be provided at the conclusion of the session.
If the recommended bat is purchased through 406 SwingLab within 24 hours of the fitting, a $50 credit will be applied to the bat purchase. Following the session, the parent/guardian will receive a 406 SwingLab Bat Fitting Report Card and an edited video containing select Blast Motion swing clips and 3D swing model clips, typically delivered within ≈24 hours. The number of clips included and total video length are at the sole discretion of the bat fitter.
*Ball Flight Analysis is available only as an add-on to a pre-scheduled .406 SwingLab Signature Bat Fitting and cannot be purchased as a stand-alone session. The $20 fee is added to the Signature Fitting cost and must be elected at the time of scheduling. On-site add-ons may be accommodated on a best-efforts basis but are not guaranteed due to equipment, time, or field conditions. Ball flight Analysis may add 15-20min to overall session time.
**Tournament Bat Fittings are only available on-site at .406 SwingLab tournament appearances and are provided on a first-come, first-served basis, subject to availability.
-Weather & Environment Clause
“Because 406 SwingLab operates in outdoor and mobile environments, sessions may be delayed, paused, or rescheduled due to weather, field availability, or unsafe conditions. I understand that 406 SwingLab reserves the right to determine whether conditions are safe for the player.”
-Incomplete Session Clause
“If a session is interrupted or must be stopped early for reasons outside of 406 SwingLab’s control (weather, facility interruptions, unsafe conditions, equipment failure, etc.), the session may be rescheduled at 406 SwingLab’s discretion. Partial sessions are not eligible for refunds."

“Late arrivals may result in reduced evaluation time. Full session fees still apply.”
-No-Show / Last-Minute Cancellation Clause
“Cancellations within 24 hours of the session or no-shows are not eligible for refunds. Rescheduling may be offered when possible.”
-Bat Demo Disclaimer
“Players may test multiple bats during the fitting. Any accidental damage to demo equipment caused by misuse or unsafe behavior may be the responsibility of the parent/guardian.”
-Coaching Boundaries
“To ensure accurate data and a safe session, I agree not to provide separate hitting instruction during the fitting unless asked. I understand that the coach running the session will control all coaching cues, drills, and safety instructions.”
-Technology Disclaimer
“Swing metrics, bat speeds, and exit velocities are collected using industry-standard technology. While these tools are highly accurate, I understand that all measurements have normal variability and should be interpreted as estimates, not absolutes.”
-Technology & Video Recording Notice:
.406 SwingLab uses multiple third-party devices and software applications (Blast Motion, Drop N Launch, GoPro, iPad, etc.) to capture swing metrics and video footage. Because these tools rely on wireless connectivity, battery power, and software stability, occasional failures or data loss may occur. By participating in a bat fitting or training session, you acknowledge that .406 SwingLab is not liable for incomplete recordings, corrupted or missing files, failed exports, or technology malfunctions of any kind. If a major equipment failure prevents a proper evaluation, the session may be rescheduled at our discretion.
