Poetry Ireland Partnership scheme:
Poetry Ireland is pleased to announce that we now welcome applications for support towards poetry readings, workshops and activities taking place between 1st January to 30th June 2026.
About the Scheme:
Launched in 2023, the Partnership Scheme supports poets, groups, organisers, and producers in festival, venue, and arts organisations across Ireland to present and promote live poetry readings, workshops, performances, launches and other poetry events and activities. The scheme, which runs twice yearly, fosters collaboration and ensures that poetry remains a vital part of Ireland’s cultural landscape by providing opportunities for poets at all career stages.
The Partnership Scheme submission window will close on Wednesday 3rd December 2025 at 5pm.
Funding Priorities:
Poetry Ireland has identified three priorities we wish to support through our partnership scheme, and we welcome applications that align with one or more of the following priorities:
1. Our Equality, Diversity and Inclusion Policy and action plan promotes poets who are underrepresented or marginalised - we are particularly keen to support events, readings and activities that consider this, and foreground published or spoken word poets from such backgrounds.
2. Newly published poetry collections and anthologies by poets at all stages of their careers.
3. Mainstage Events: events that include support for diverse international guests, music and reading combinations, and / or multi-disciplinary approaches to incorporating poetry readings into general arts programmes.
Applications will be assessed and funding awarded by a panel.
Funding and Support Available:
Please note that our budgets are limited and awarded funding will be dependent on scale, ambition and demand. Indicative levels of support, based on 2025 awards, range from €300 to €500 maximum. It is recommended applicants should not rely solely on the partnership scheme to finance the activity/event.
Please refer to Pay scale information for writers when submitting your application as outlined here.
Addition Partnership Scheme Benefits:
In addition to a budgetary contribution, Poetry Ireland offers promotion on Poetry Ireland’s website and social media channels and inclusion in Poetry Ireland’s digital and print marketing (where applicable).

Braithfidh na buiséid ar chúrsaí scála, uaillmhéine agus éilimh. Is idir €300 agus €500 ar a mhéid a bheadh na leibhéil thacaíochta tháscacha, bunaithe ar dhámhachtaniní na bliana 2025.
De bhreis ar ranníocaíocht bhuiséadach, cuirimid tacaíocht chumarsáide ar fáil trí bheith rannpháirteach inár suíomh gréasáin agus inár meáin shóisialta.
Tá trí thosaíocht aitheanta ag Éigse Éireann ar mian linn tacú leo trínár scéim
comhpháirtíochta, agus chuirfimis fáilte roimh iarratais a thabharfaidh aghaidh ar cheann amháin de na tosaíochtaí seo nó ar mheascán díobh:
1. Inár mBeartas agus Plean Gníomhaíochta Comhionannais, Éagsúlachta agus Ionchuimsithe cuirtear filí chun cinn a mbíonn leithcheal déanta orthu, nach ndéantar dóthain ionadaíochta orthu nó a bhíonn imeallaithe - tá fonn orainn go háirithe tacú le himeachtaí, léamhanna agus gníomhaíochtaí a chuireann é seo san áireamh, agus aird a tharraingt ar fhilí as na cúlraí sin a bhfuil saothar i gcló acu nó ar filí ó bhéal iad.
2. Cnuasaigh filíochta agus díolaimí nuafhoilsithe le filí atá ag gach céim dá ngairm.
3. Imeachtaí príomhstáitse - orthu seo bheadh tacaíocht le haíonna idirnáisiúnta éagsúla agus / nó meascáin den cheol agus den léamh nó cineálacha cur chuige ildhisciplíneacha maidir le léamhanna filíochta a dhéanamh mar chuid de chláracha ealaíon i gcoitinne.
Déanfaidh painéal na hiarratais a mheasúnú agus an maoiniú a dhámhachtain.
Déanaimid ár ndícheall freisin freastal ar chuid de na féilte agus na h-imeachtaí a dtugaimid tacaíocht dóibh.
Cuimhnigh na nithe seo a leanas roimh an fhoirm ghearr thíos a chomhlánú.

(b) ár lógó a bheith san áireamh ar leathanach an imeachta sa leagan ar líne agus sa bhróisiúr i bhfoirm chóip chrua araon agus sna meáin shóisialta ar fad a bhaineann leis an togra. Cuirfimid ár bpaca lógó ar fáil. Tabhair sonraí maidir le spriocam le haghaidh do bhróisiúir, le do thoil.

(e) nuair is féidir é go praiticiúil, preabsheastán Éigse Éireann a bheith ar taispeáint ag gach imeacht a dtugaimid tacaíocht dó. Ba mhian linn freisin go mbeadh foilseacháin de chuid Éigse Éireann, m.sh. Iris Éigse Éireann agus Trumpet a bheith ar taispeáint agus san áireamh sna siopaí leabhar ag na féilte dá dtugaimid tacaíocht.

Déanfar íocaíochtaí iomlána tar éis an imeachta/na gníomhaíochta ar an bhfaisnéis a lorgaítear a fháil lena n-áirítear postáil/tuairisc ghearr tar éis an imeachta/na gníomhaíochta. I gcás dámhachtainí níos mó, d’fhéadfadh sceideal iocaíochta a bheith i gceist mar chuid den mhaoiniú a thairgtear. Ní féidir maoiniú a thabhairt anonn ó bhliain go bliain agus níl sé inaistrithe.
