You may complete this form to join our waitlist for cancellations or added availability. Please ensure you have reviewed our updated Spring 2026 field trip brochure. Filling out the form does not guarantee you a field trip spot.

  • Note: If your school has Title 1 Designation, your school is eligible for a scholarship/funding for your Field Trip. Title 1 Funding covers the cost of student admission and/or bookstore purchases. Title 1 Funding is limited and on a first-come, first-serve basis.

    Designed to engage students on a deeper level, The Rabbit hOle’s programs build connections between the books, creators and your students.
  • Program Descriptions:

    Exploring with Your Senses in My Garden: This 90-minute Early Childhood Field Trip is for students in Pre-K through 1st grade. It can accommodate up to 40 students and is focused on one exhibit on the museum floor.

    Building a Community: This 90-minute Tons of Fun Field Trip is for students 1st through 6th grade. It can accommodate up to 40 students and visits three to four exhibits on the museum floor.

    Everyday Inspiration:  This 90-minute Tons of Fun Field Trip is for students 1st through 6th grade. It can accommodate up to 40 students and visits three to four exhibits on the museum floor.

    Many Pieces Make a Whole: This 90-minute Tons of Fun Field Trip is for students 1st through 6th grade. It can accommodate up to 40 students and visits three to four exhibits on the museum floor.

    Build a Story with Twists and Turns: This 120-minute Story Lab Field Trip is for students 4th through 12th grade. It can accommodate up to 30 students and visits three exhibits on the museum floor.

    The Character Lab: This 120-minute Story Lab Field Trip is for students 4th through 12th grade. It can accommodate up to 30 students and visits three exhibits on the museum floor.

    Variations! Creating New Stories: This 120-minute Story Lab Field Trip is for students 4th through 12th grade. It can accommodate up to 30 students and visits three exhibits on the museum floor.

    Expect the Unexpected with The Three Robbers: This 120-minute Print Shop Field Trip is for students 6th through 12th grade. It can accommodate up to 24 students and focuses on our cover-to-cover experience of Tomi Ungerer’s The Three Robbers. 

    Fantastical Botany Prints: This 120-minute Print Shop Field Trip is for students 4th through 12th grade. It can accommodate up to 24 students and focuses on The Rabbit hOle’s newest discovery gallery exhibit - My Mother’s Father’s Dragon - original artwork from My Father’s Dragon.

    The Power of Picture Books: Creating A Community: This 120 minute higher education pathways field trip for students in high school or college. It can accommodate up to 40 students and features Last Stop on Market Street written by Matt de la Peña and illustrated by Christian Robinson. 

    The Power of Picture Books: Exploring in My Garden: This 120 minute higher education pathways field trip for students in high school or college. It can accommodate up to 40 students and features My Garden and Kitten’s First Full Moon by Kevin Henkes.

  • Pick a Date for your Field Trip

    FILED TRIP SLOTS FOR SPRING FULL ARE FULL. If you would like to be added to our waitlist for cancellations or any additional availability we are able to open, please select a date and time on the second calendar below.
  • Field Trip Information

    Our Field Trips are divided into "pods" of 8-12 students. Our Field Trip Policy states that there must be one adult chaperone/teacher for each pod of students. Note that one-to-one aides or paras do NOT count towards your total number of chaperones.
  • Bookstore Shopping Options

    A bookstore visit is a valuable experience. When students are able to purchase a book it reconnects their visit to The Rabbit hOle with the larger world of literature.

    Independent Shopping: Students browse the entire inventory of the Lucky Rabbit bookstore and select their own books. Please note that all students must have the opportunity to purchase a book. There is a $20 maximum purchase- no plushies or games can be purchased.

    Pre-Selected Exhibit Book Table: Students choose their own book from a prepared table of Rabbit hOle exhibit books while at The Rabbit hOle on their field trip.

    Pre-Selected Takeaway Bundle: School purchases a pre-selected book bundle of titles that pair with their field trip program to take back to their school. 

    *The Rabbit hOle has limited grant funding available to cover book purchases for students visiting from Title 1 school. This can be applied to the Pre-Selected Exhibit Book Table or the Pre-Selected Takeaway Bundle.*

    • No running in the museum.
    • Children under the age of 16 must be with an adult at all times.
    • Strollers are not permittede in the museum. 
    • Outside food or drink is not permitted in the museum. 
    • No smoking, including e-cigarettes and vaporizers. 
    • No shoes with skates or wheels. 

    Visitors who do not abide by The Rabbit hOle's {Code of Conduct} will be required to leave the museum. 

    Please note that with your ticket purchase, you are agreeing that "Each person entering the The Rabbit hOle grants the museum permission to photograph, videotape, record, or otherwise reproduce the image and/or voice of the person and all accompanying minors, without compensation, for the museum's business and promotional purposes, inluding copying, distribution, and other uses". 

    If a teacher, chaperone, or student does not wish to provide photo release authorization, this must be noted with our staff before your visit.
