Would you be interested in taking a leadership position at the Co-Op?

Each role would require an additional 5-15 hours/month. Previous experience or a willigness to learn is required.
President or Vice-president: Calls and conducts monthly meetings, forms an agenda for those meetings and establishes order during the meetings. Delegates jobs to members. Oversees committees and members’ jobs
Secretary: Takes minutes at every meeting and distributes a copy to the membership and/or executive within one week after meetings. Also reads previous meetings minutes at following meeting.
Treasurer: Keeps note and control of cash coming in and out of the organization. Submits a monthly report at the meetings.
Governance Committee: A group who takes charge in establishing the group as a co-op, reads and understands the Cooperative Association Act and Regulation.
Location Committee: A group who scouts for possible locations with the help of a realtor and reports back to the board.
