  • Most Valuable Part-Time Player Award

    This award recognizes part-time employees who make outstanding contributions to their agency and the community. Nominees should consistently demonstrate exceptional job performance, positive community engagement, strong leadership, and a commitment to personal growth and inclusion.
  • Awards will be given in the following sub-categories:

    • Athletics
    • Aquatics
    • Aging/Human Services
    • Development and Operations
    • Recreation
    • Recreation Therapy

    Eligibility

    • Must be a current part-time employee for a District 10 agency.
    • Must have an above-average performance record.
    • Must display reliable attendance, punctuality, and professional conduct.
    • Supervisors, coordinators, or managers may submit nominations.

     Nominees will be graded on the following items, each worth 25 point:

    1. Teamwork and Leadership
      1. Focus: Attitude, cooperation, mentorship, and team morale.
      2. Description: Recognizes employees who lead by example, foster teamwork, and maintain a positive, supportive attitude. Their collaboration and encouragement strengthen workplace unity and inspire others to excel.
    2. Initiative and Service
      1. Focus: Innovation, dedication, and improvement of programs and services.
      2. Description: Honors employees who go beyond their duties to improve programs, solve problems, and enhance community experiences. Their initiative and enthusiasm elevate service quality and inspire excellence.
    3. Community Impact
      1. Focus: Quality of service, community connection, and agency representation.
      2. Description: Highlights employees who make a meaningful difference through exceptional service and engagement. Their efforts build trust, reflect agency pride, and enrich the lives of those they serve.
    4. Growth and Inclusion
      1. Focus: Learning, adaptability, inclusivity, and continuous improvement.
      2. Description: Commends employees who embrace growth, adapt to change, and value diverse perspectives. Their openness and professionalism strengthen the workplace and promote an inclusive, forward-thinking culture.
  • Recipients do not have to be members of a section but must be employed by a CPRS agency for a minimum of one year. If Nominee is selected, a fee of $25 for the medal and a photo of the employee must be submitted by the nominating agency.
