Dear Parents and Applicants: We are excited and enthused about the fact that your daughter has been chosen to be a member of the Ladies of Great Purpose Giggles & Girls Program. L.O.G.P. is a 501 c 3 non- profit female organization that thrives to bring about academic, character, social and physical changes that improve the lifestyle of young ladies ages eight to eighteen years of age. A sisterhood of enlighten, leadership, direction, and proper values founded on the elderly principles of life we are determined as women, mothers and professionals to impact the way girls think, live and voice their beliefs today that promote healthy choices and successful outcomes. Giggles and Girls is more than please to be a part of your daughter(s) developmental growth and character upbringing that propel her to superior heights. If we are going to shape and change the future as it appeal to young females it must be done today with real role models that reflect what L. O. G. P. stands for audacity (boldness), elegance (grace) essence (real meaning), equality (fairness), integrity (honesty) and foremost appeal (calling Guidance is the heart of this program and responsibility for ones actions must be placed upon each applicant that include herself in the process 100%. Your being involved says a lot about what you want and desire for your daughter(s) as a parent. We applaud you and invite you to assist us in being the very best we can be for all these young ladies as one huge mountain of knowledge, strength, faith, hope and love. Caring and sharing our joy, pain, trials, victories, fears as well as our tears must be real so real that it penetrates the very soul and mind of this group of girls. We must allow our struggles to be their strength for the journey until they can truly understand what it takes to survive in a world that want to leave under age minority females in sub-par conditions and employment opportunities that will forever keep them in poverty and lower class living conditions. LOGP goal is to illustrate, educate and graduate a female leader or an army of leaders that will lead the next generation (sister to sister) moving forward in the struggle of excellence to achieve more doing more and becoming more. In conclusion we are building on the past, marching in the present and moving on the future. Giggle & Girls / LOGP Registration Fee & Dress Code

Giggles & Girls is a program with a vision and a purpose in mind. One that will strengthen your daughter(s) as it assists her in finding her true self-worth and dignity as a young female/woman.

This task begins with the way she views herself as a person and as an individual. Therefore, we are placing her in colors that radiate beauty and intelligent. Our Pink Polo Pullover shirts trimmed in blue with matching pink caps foretells our theme. The logo speaks volumes about our mission and goals for our young ladies. The registration fee is $125.00 per person which includes a twenty dollar price for the t- shirts. You may purchase a cap for an addition twenty dollars. These monies are to assist us in developing a program the community and you as parents will be very proud of and want to become a part of immediately. The desire to project a positive and wholesome image is one we hope you will appreciate and commit to as mothers and leaders in your home, churches, neighborhoods, schools and this wonderful city.

Allow me to say first and foremost as co-founder and leader of L.O.G.P. it is an honor to serve you and your daughter(s I will do my very best on a daily basis to represent this program as a role model and lady of the highest standard. This program stands for excellence in all things and you are invited to get involved in any capacity you feel comfortable in serving as mentors, teachers and role models. In the words of and old friend and one of my dearest mentors (my grandmother) "don't let finances be the reason why you can't reach your goal for you or your children but allow it to be more so the reason why you can." , parent of the child who name is listed below , do hereby give my permission to LOGP / Giggles & Girls and its mentors group to work with my daughter free of any liability and all financial damages. This release allows them to service her with care and leadership that enhances as well as build her spiritual, moral, physical and social abilities while attending recreational outings and transporting from one site to another as a member of the character development program of LOGP/ Giggle & Girls.

I morally endorse their efforts to enrich and develop academic, civic and humanitarian goals in these young female leaders of tomorrow today. Also, I am willing to work and help pool my resource, time and efforts in any way possible lending to this program the guidance it needs to reach its goal as a community based program. Goals I hope will build these young ladies character, diversity and direction as they strive to reach successful outcomes in their communities within the city of Houston. We know very clearly it takes the whole (all of us) working together as one.

Therefore, I stand firm in my commitment as a parent and citizen to be there in this great endeavor as an Affiliate Sponsor, Parent Sponsor, Mentor Sponsor, Program Sponsor, Public Sponsor or Vocal Sponsor assisting to correct the mindset of these young ladies. Trusting that their potential will shine through as we work to make Houston a great city to live and grow in as a person.

The goals of this program are listed below and are meant to develop body, mind and spirit as a major part of the growing process. Therefore, implementations of these objectives are necessary to the well being of all young girls.

Listen to every young lady with an open mind regardless of what she has to say good or bad working to develop an elite girl today for tomorrow.

Learn from each young lady in a way that it will enhance her overall ability to function only in a positive manner giving constructive feedback and motivation as a whole.

Teach social, personal and marketable skills transferable enough to be used in the community and workplace.

Develop small groups that allow every individual to feel apart of the entire group knowing she has value and integrity as a person.

Enter conflict resolution therapy with one goal in mind always to succeed as a goal that it builds self-esteem in each young girl giving purpose to their lives.

Create positive outings that enrich the character and personality of these young girls to the point of refining and defining them as individuals of purpose.

Create a quality newsletter that outlines our appreciation, goals, and activities. Highlighting our success and community involvement in churches and support groups citywide.

Develop a three member Executive Board to oversee G&G functions and success as a community based organization under PBMA.

Create a successful model that can be viewed state wide as a leader among female organizations.

Work diligent to promote success in the classroom that we may graduate a college graduate for the future and leader for tomorrow, today.
