    The WCoC Business Excellence Awards night will be held on Saturday 14th February 2026, 6pm for a 6:30pm start. Location: Douglas Feez Pavillion, Warwick Showgrounds, 18 Kingsford Street, Warwick QLD.

  • NOTE: A small business employer is an employer with fewer than 15 employees at a particular time. If an employer has 15 or more employees at a particular time, they are no longer a small business employer. When counting the number of employees, employees of associated entities of the employer are included. Casual employees are not included unless engaged on a regular and systematic basis.

  • Award Categories

    Applicants may apply for up to 3 categories, provided they meet the eligibility requirements for each category.

  • As per the Application Guidelines, the 60-second video and optional supporting documentation play a critical role in showcasing your business beyond the written responses. The video provides an opportunity to personally present your business’s story, values, and achievements, while the supporting documentation helps strengthen your application with visual and strategic evidence of excellence.

  • Video Submission

    Create a 60-second (maximum length) video that highlights:

    • Who you are.
    • What your business does.
    • Why you believe your business exemplifies excellence and deserves an award.

    Your video counts for 30% of the judging.

    Applicants are encouraged to attach supporting documentation to strengthen their application:

    • A summary of your business or strategic plan (max 2 pages).
    • Customer testimonials or references.
    • Photos or videos showcasing your business, team or product/services.

    Your supporting documention counts for 10% of the judging.

    The judging criteria for the application are as follows:

    • Written Responses - 60%
    • Video Submission - 30%
    • Supporting Documentation - 10%

     

    Judging Process

    All applications will be reviewed by a panel of independent judges, with a minimum of 2 judges allocated to each award category. Judges are carefully selected to ensure impartiality, expertise and fairness in the evaluation process. 

    To maintain the integrity of the awards:

    • Judges are required to sign a confidentiality agreement to ensure all applications remain private.
    • Judges must declare any conflicts of interest and will be excluded from assessing any category or applicant where such conflicts exist.
    • Scores and feedback will be based on the provided criteria, and criteria decisions will be made collectively by the panel.

  • Invoicing for Non-Member Applications

    An invoice will be issued upon receipt of this form if you have indicated that you are not a member of the Warwick Chamber of Commerce or if you would like to become a new member.

    Note: Payment is required within 7 days.
