Team Speed Report Card
A simple tool for directors and coaches to evaluate team-wide speed development and identify opportunities for a unified, more effective training system. Evaluate each category based on your organization’s current training habits, athlete performance, and coach feedback. Select the option that best represents your teams as a whole. Once complete, you will receive an email with the results and interpretation.
1) Acceleration Mechanics
How quickly can players get to full speed?
Scoring Guide
5 = Strong forward lean, first steps under hip, powerful first 10 yards 4 = Good mechanics, minor technical issues 3 = Neutral; inconsistent drive, average output 2 = Poor push angles, short choppy steps 1 = No clear acceleration pattern; footwork collapses

Max Velocity Mechanics
How smooth, elastic, and upright are they at top speed?
Scoring Guide
5 = Relaxed, elastic, upright, foot slightly in front of hips 4 = Good mechanics with small inconsistencies 3 = Average: overstride or heel striking sometimes 2 = Mechanical issues limit speed 1 = Athletes decelerate early or have obvious form breakdowns

Change of Direction/Agility
Can they change direction without losing speed or balance?
Scoring Guide
5 = Explosive cuts, stable hips, fast re-accel 4 = Solid movement, some inefficiencies 3 = Decent but inconsistent 2 = Slow transitions, drift, balance problems 1 = Players avoid changing direction or consistently lose the ball/position

Scoring Guide
5 = Strong, stable, mobile, low injury risk indicators 4 = Mostly good movement 3 = Stiffness or minor issues present 2 = Noticeable dysfunctions, recurring tightness 1 = Clear limitations; high injury flags
