EOI: WDNA Umpiring Squad 2026

Winter 2026 Availability

In 2026 we are trying to be more flexible with the divisions that the WDNA Academy covers, to give umpires that are playing the opportunity to continue their umpiring development and not miss out on because of their availability.

To do this, we have not yet reserved any divisions for the academy, as we will do this based on the expressions of interest recieved for this squad. 

To assist us, please indicate your availability for the Winter season in this table below.

We understand that this is looking a long way in the future, but please try to complete this as accurately as possible, and inform us if there are any changes.

TACT Development Program

Our athlete development program runs trials for the different age groups in March 2026.

This is an excellent time to start some Pre-season umpiring, there will be umpire coaching at the TACT trials.

Umpires are paid $20 per hour for umpiring at these trials, via bank transfer at the completion of the trials.

TACT Training

Once the Trials are complete there is TACT training on a Monday.  

This is another great opportunity for our umpires to umpire and receive coaching in the build up to the FTGAP. 

Teams have requested umpires at the below dates. Again, umpires are paid at $20 per hour, following the FTGAP Association Championships weekend.
