Ambler Mountain Works
www.amblermw.com
Ambler Mountain Works creates thoughtful gear for people who love the outdoors, and we’re looking for an organized, reliable right-hand who brings that same care into how our business runs. If you thrive on keeping moving pieces in order, supporting a small team, and making sure nothing slips through the cracks, you’ll feel right at home here.
What You’ll Do
- Own the inbox: triage emails, reply to customers, book calls, route invoices/receipts.
- Coordinate custom orders: track production timelines, work with our designer, send customer updates, update Copper CRM.
- Manage inbound logistics: track POs, confirm customs documents, follow up with freight partners.
- Handle front-line admin: answer calls, ship samples, organize the office, prep materials.
- Keep timelines on track: maintain seasonal calendars, deadlines, and deliverables.
- Use tech & AI tools: help refine workflows, maintain digital systems, and automate where it makes sense.
Who You Are
- Organized, proactive, great written communication, customer focused, tech-comfortable, and the kind of person who quietly fixes problems before anyone knows they exist.
- You don’t need to have summited Everest, but enjoying time outside helps you connect with what Ambler is all about.
- Bonus if you’ve worked with logistics, customer service, or operations.
- This role is hybrid, but you must be available to work on site in Vancouver several days per week. If you’re seeking a fully remote position, this won’t be the right fit.
Why It Matters
You’ll remove friction, keep operations flowing, and make sure nothing falls through the cracks, enabling the business to grow faster and smoother.

Compensation & Work Arrangement
- 3 month contract, with the possibility of extension or becoming permanent.
- 20–30 hrs/week, with the potential for increased hours over time.
- $30–$35/hour, depending on experience.
- Hybrid with required on-site days in Vancouver; not suitable for fully remote applicants.
