  • I declare that the above tractor is roadworthy, and that the driver has a current driving license, RTA insurance and excise license and that documents (or copies) will be available on the day. Whilst the organisers of this road run have taken every precaution in the interest of public safety, your entry is nevertheless on the condition that those attending agree to absolve the organisers, promoters and every other person participating in the management of this event, from all liability in respect of injury or damage to property, howsoever caused. In addition, it is your responsibility to ensure that every vehicle taking part holds the appropriate third-party liability insurance cover as required by the road traffic act. I have also read the conditions overleaf and agree to comply with these.

  • YOUNG FARMERS TRACTOR RUN

    • Entries must be received by Sunday 14th December 2025 (Sunday 7th for postal entries) along with a minimum £20.00/tractor entry fee.
    • All tractors must be roadworthy and in full working order.
    • The driver must hold a current driving license, RTA insurance and excise license and documents (or copies) must be available on the day. It is also advisable to have public liability insurance.
    • Registration numbers must be clearly visible.
    • Drivers should always obey the Highway Code and remember that they will be moving very slowly compared with most other road users who may not appreciate that fact.
    • Drivers should pay special attention to stopping or turning signals and ensure these are given in plenty of time and can be clearly seen. They should also make their vehicle as visible as possible especially in bad weather.
    • Drivers must ensure they allow sufficient time for turning or manoeuvring.

    In addition, Drivers Should MUST:

    Have full control of their vehicle at all times & always have full view ahead Not drive backwards (except when manoeuvring) Not allow vehicles to stand in road if causing obstruction Stop engine if vehicle is to be parked (unless carrying out adjustments) Pull in regularly (depending on traffic conditions) to allow traffic to pass Leave reasonable space (2 telegraph poles distance) between for passing vehicles to pull in There is to be NO racing along the highway and NO overtaking of other tractors on the Road Run NO passenger carrying trailers. The Organisers will not be responsible for any collisions or accidents of entrants either on site or on the highway, drivers are responsible for their own actions. All entrants must submit a signed declaration stating: "their tractor is roadworthy, & that the driver has a current driving license, RTA insurance & excise license.
