    About the Event

    The Institute for Security and Technology is pleased to host the Third Annual Cyber Policy Awards™ Gala on the evening of Thursday, February 5, 2026 in Washington, DC. During the event, members of the cyber policy community will present The Atlas awards to deserving recipients who have driven meaningful progress over the last year, and present a special award for lifetime achievement.

  • Space for this event is limited. We review registrations as they are received while maintaining reserved seating for award finalists and distinguished guests. Early registration is strongly encouraged. Once approved, you will receive separate follow-up instructions by email from our event registration platform RSVPify displaying the email address invitations@rsvpify.org.

    • Cyber Policy Awards 2026 Ticketing: Pricing & Refunds FAQ 
    • 1. What are the ticket prices for the gala?

      We offer tiered pricing for our gala based on attendee category:

      • General Admission: $250 per ticket
      • Nonprofit and Academic Attendees: $100 per ticket
      • Government Attendees: $75 per ticket 
      • Young Professionals and Students: $50 for a NextGen Balcony ticket

      Any excess proceeds will go toward supporting IST’s nonprofit mission and programs.


      2. Is registration required for everyone attending the event?

      Yes. All attendees must register in advance, regardless of their role (e.g., judge, nominee, finalist, public attendee). This allows us to gather information on attendees’ dietary and accessibility needs and comply with venue capacity and security requirements.


      3. I’m a government employee. Can I purchase a discounted ticket?

      Yes, government employees are eligible for a discounted ticket. However, it is your responsibility to ensure that accepting this discount complies with your agency’s ethics rules. We’re happy to provide documentation as needed.


      4. Are my tickets transferable?

      Yes, tickets may be transferred to another individual at your organization up until four (4) business days before the event. Please contact us at info@cyberpolicyawards.org with the new guest's name and contact information, as the substituted individual will need to quickly provide information regarding their entree choice, dietary restrictions, and accessibility needs.


      5. What is your refund policy?

      Refunds are available up to seven (7) days prior to the event. After that time, we are unable to offer refunds due to committed costs associated with the event.If you are unable to attend, you may:

      • Transfer your ticket to another individual (see above)
      • Donate the ticket value to our organization (a receipt for tax purposes will be issued upon request)

      6. What if the event is canceled or postponed?

      In the unlikely event that the gala is canceled or postponed due to inclement weather or force majeure, all ticket holders will be notified immediately. In case of postponement, tickets will automatically transfer to the new date. Ticket holders unable to attend the rescheduled date may transfer their ticket to another attendee, request a full refund, or convert their ticket to a tax-deductible donation.


      7. Can I pay by check or invoice instead of online?

      Yes. We can accommodate check payments and issue invoices upon request. Please contact us at info@cyberpolicyawards.org for arrangements.
