Festival of Arts Renewal Scholarship Application

School Information

I understand and agree to comply with the policies governing the Festival of Arts scholarship program based on the criteria detailed below, and that I may be eligible to renew my scholarship in the fall of 2026. 

1. I agree to keep the Scholarship Committee (the “Committee”) informed of my current email, home, residence and school addresses, and telephone numbers.  Any changes to my contact information will be sent via email to scholarships@foapom.com and/or in writing via USPS to Scholarship Coordinator, Festival of Arts, 650 Laguna Canyon Road, Laguna Beach, CA 92651.

2. To qualify for scholarship renewal and payment I must submit each of the following items, all of which must be received by the Committee not later than October 1, 2025:  

• Online Renewal application.
• Agreement.
• Official transcripts.
• A formal dated letter to the Scholarship Committee containing:
  1. Summary of past work in your chosen field and plans for the coming year.
  2. Extracurricular activities over the past year.
  3. Current professional goals.
  4. Any other information you would like the committee to consider.
• Proof of full-time enrollment for the upcoming fall term to include:
  
  1. Copy of your full-time class schedule at an accredited 4-year University or Community College for the fall term.
  2. Schedule must include your name or college ID #.
  3. Name of your College or University must appear on your schedule. Check with your school’s registrar office if you need assistance.

3. I understand that COVID-19 related government mandated restrictions may adversely impact the timing of my receipt (but not the amount) of payment.

4. I understand that if I fail to meet each of these requirements, my entire four-year award will be forfeited.

5. I understand that if my scholarship award is forfeited, the Festival’s current policies allow me to file an appeal.

6. I understand that my scholarship is renewable for a total of four years of undergraduate college education during the five-year period following graduation from high school. I understand that to qualify for scholarship renewal and payment I must meet the following requirements:

• Maintain a minimum GPA of 2.5 for the first year (3.0 for each year after) for the previous academic year.
• Maintain full-time enrollment at an accredited 4-year University or Community College for the previous academic year.  
• Complete two classes in the previous academic year in the area of scholarship. These classes must be taken at an accredited 4-year University, Community College or accredited online class.

7. I understand that awards are made and funds distributed on an annual basis for each upcoming academic school year, and that there is no assurance that awards will be made or distributed in any subsequent year.
