The Ohio ProStart Invitational is a high school competition that showcases the talent of the next generation of restaurant management and culinary arts professionals. This exciting event features two separate competitions - culinary and management. The culinary competition requires teams to prepare a 3-course meal in 60 minutes without access to running water or electricity using only two butane burners. The management competition has teams develop an original restaurant concept and present it to a panel of judges "Shark Tank" style. Judges ask the students questions to solve challenges that restaurant managers face daily.
