The Ohio ProStart Invitational is a high school competition that showcases the talent of the next generation of restaurant management and culinary arts professionals. This exciting event features two separate competitions - culinary and management. The culinary competition requires teams to prepare a 3-course meal in 60 minutes without access to running water or electricity using only two butane burners. The management competition has teams develop an original restaurant concept and present it to a panel of judges "Shark Tank" style. Judges ask the students questions to solve challenges that restaurant managers face daily.

This is your opportunity to watch the next generation of culinary and management students deliver their best culinary masterpieces and restaurant concepts and compete to win their spot in the National ProStart Invitational in Baltimore, MD April 24–26, 2026.

Judge Opportunities

Both culinary and management positions are available. Please select from the choices below. We will do our best to accommodate your request; however, positions are subject to change depending on the number of judges available. All judges will be required to attend one virtual information training session. We will have both morning and late afternoon sessions available. The session will include a review of competition rules as there have been changes well as a review of the electronic scoring system.
