Interest
If you have interest that is $10 or less, then the banking institution is not required to give you a 1099-INT Form. However, that interest is still reportable to the IRS. Therefore, you can either call the bank and ask for the interest you had for that tax year or look at your last banking statement in December and look for the year-to-date interest for that tax year. If under $10, you can just tell us the amount.
HSA
If you have a Health Savings Account and you took money out of the account (or used your HSA card to purchase items) during the tax year, then we will need the tax form 1099-SA.
Rental Property
If you have Rental Property, you need to fill out a rental worksheet for each property. You can find this on our website or we can print one out for you.
Business Income - Schedule C
If you have a business on your individual return, then we will need a Profit & Loss from an accounting program or you must fill out our worksheet. You can find this on our website or we can print out one for you.
Children 18 years or Older
If you are a parent and have a child 18 years or older, then we will need a consent on file from the child to give us permission to discuss any personal tax information with you. This form must be filled out by the child and the child must sign the Engagement Letter and their tax documents. The consent form can be filled out in our office or found online.
