Charities Scholarship Application - 2026
  • Welcome to UnCommon Farms Foundation 2026 Scholarship Applications

    All applications will be reviewed and scored by our UnCommon Farms Foundation Scholarship Committee. Recipients will be announced in May, 2026
  • Scholarships Overview

    Our UnCommon Farms Foundation Scholarships have been created to support academics and agriculture for the next generation.  These scholarships are designed to be awarded to individuals who possess those characteristics necessary to positively impact our world through agriculture.  Note: Ag Career and Ag Accounting recipients are eligible for a "Follow-up" Scholarship up to three additional years or up until time of graduation, whichever comes first, as long as all requirements are met per the yearly follow-up application. A description of each scholarship available is below:
  • Ag Career $1,000 Scholarship

    Applicant must be a high school senior accepted into an accredited college for the 2026-2027 school year and must be going into an agriculture-related field of study. Follow-Up Scholarship renewal opportunities are available yearly until the program is completed (up to three years), if you meet the requirements and provide the updated documentation.
  • Ag Accounting $1,000 Scholarship

    Applicant must be a high school senior accepted into an accredited college for the 2026-2027 school year and pursuing a degree in agricultural accounting, economics, or financial related career. This also applies to enrollment in an accredited graduate school program majoring in accounting, economics or a financial related career. Follow-Up Ag Scholarship renewal opportunities are available yearly until program is completed (up to three years) if you provide updated documentation and meet requirements.
  • Memorial / Trade School $1,000 Scholarships (2 opportunities)

    Applicant must be a high school senior accepted into an accredited junior college or trade school for the 2026-2027 year and must be going into an agriculture-related field of study. This is a one-time award.
  • Environmental $1,000 Scholarship

    Applicant must be a high school senior accepted into an accredited college, junior college or trade school for the 2026-2027 year and must be going into a conservation-related field of study such as Wildlife Management, Environmental Sciences, Conservation, etc.
  • All applicants must be a US or Canadian citizen.


    Criteria for evaluation:

    1) Agriculture-related field of study

    2) Essay Answers

    3) Community Leadership/Involvement

    4) GPA/Class Rank (not required for Conservation or Memorial/Trade School Scholarships)

    5) ACT/SAT Scores (not required for Conservation or Memorial/Trade School Scholarships)

     

    The following documents MUST be submitted:

    1) Completed Application

    2) High School Transcript

    3) 1 Letter of Recommendation

    4) ACT/SAT Scores (not required for Conservation or Memorial/Trade School Scholarships)

     

    All Application Deadlines:  Completed online or postmarked by March 15, 2026.
